Yeah, that was a sad part. For me, though, there's something about fighting in front of or inside of a large, walled fortress or city that makes a battle glorious.

I like th e banter between Legolas and Gimli, not as extensive as in the book but still good. The filming was done magnificently, and the action is amazing. Aragorn's fighting especially is incrediblly good. This has to be the best battle scene, even over Pelennor Fields, because it focuses on the individuals instead of showing 100,000 fighters it shows 10,000, and zooms in on maybe 100 at most for 75% of the scene.

Also the "shall I describe it to you?" scene is pretty good.

I don't think I've ever seen his name anywhere, Simh. I'm pretty sure I haven't, at least.
