Maybe Éomer dislikes his armour and thinks its too heavy, making him frown all the time. :teehee:

Now that's an interesting theory. Somehow, though, I doubt it. :) I mean, he wears it all of the time, even when he doesn't really need to. Obviously, then, he doesn't really mind it...

:P

there´s a little more Eomer in the director´s cut version,..not much, but a little bit
and yes, I think he´s well cast and quite compelling, he could sweep me off my feet, in a heartbeat :swoon:

Director's Cut being the Extended Edition? I'm guessing that that's what your meaning.

Two words for the same thing.

I think Eomer is cool. But, you're right, never smiles when he wears his armour, which is often. However, what does he have to smile about? His country was aout to be overrun by Uruk-hai, Theoden was poisoned by Saruman, and then, after that's fixed, he gets to ride to Gondor, thinking he will most likely die. Yay.

But when he doesn't have his armor on, he smiles. The situation doesn't really change, though. It's just an interesting fact. :D

He can make some funny faces too. Like in the EV when he found Eowyn on the battle field, he looked really wierd. But I think that is how you would really cry if you found your sister near death on the battle field. Actors can always 'cry pretty' as me and my friends say, but when we reular people cry, we look horrid.

Well, most of the time. I know some people who can 'cry pretty.' :P

Cry pretty?
*re-enters discussion which has taken a very intersting turn*
I think it depends on the situation.... if people cry pretty, isn't it usually when they're not crying their hearts out over something devastating mournful? Or...? Ehh....
If anyone can cry pretty, Arwen's gotta take the prize!! *coughcough*

Eomer is not the kind of person who would cry at all. In fact the Rohirrim don't seem like a people who cry or show many emotions in general... (yes yes, I know Eowyn is shedding a tear over Aragorn etc etc. but still..!) It must be very overwhelming and unexpected to find his sister there.

Lol, Eä. :)

Yeah, they're not normally crying their hearts out over something devastatingly mournful. And as for 'crying pretty,' Arwen might take the prize--I haven't ever compared her crying to the crying of those who I said 'cry pretty.' :D

Yeah, Éomer crying seemed a little odd, but understandable. I would probably react the same thing if I saw one of my sisters lying on the battlefield.

One of my friends commented that Eomer looked ugly while running to Eowyn. My response was exactly the same as what Aerandir just said.

Arwen is very pretty when she cries. It was quite sad, but she did it in an elegant manner. I don't think I personally know anyone who can cry pretty. I especially can't. :annoyed2:

And we come to end of days
In the dark I hear a call
Calling me there
I will go there
And Back again

Of course, we never saw her crying really hard, either. No emotional breakdowns or anything, though I'm kind of happy for that--I haven't got a clue how PJ would have gotten that in the movies without all of us fans murdering him.
