Yeah, I am glad that they cut her out of it. Still, those are cool pictures! I knew she was originally going to be there, because I watched some "behind the scenes" stuff, and she was at Helm's Deep, but I never noticed her arm and head in the background.

Well, when I found the pictures they said that some one had to freeze frame alot to find them. The horses were going fast in that part so most people would not see it. It would be there one sec. and gone the next.

Haha. I'll probably notice it sometime, then--I go through the movies with my friends frame by frame every once in a while. I don't think we've ever managed to stay awake until that part in TTT, though. We normally are doing it around 3:00 AM.

I am also glad that they cut Arwen out of the scene. If Arwen would have shown up at Helm's Deep, and Aragorn and Arwen saw each other, they might both get killed for pausing too long, or Aragorn might try to get to Arwen or the other way around, which would probably end in disaster.

In my opinion, it would have ruined the end of ROTK where they meet again, because there's more emotion to it when people in love meet again after a long time of not knowing whether the other was dead or not.

It's that whole equality thing again... back in the Medieval times, women were not allowed to do things that men were allowed to do... let alone go and fight in a battle. And LotR was set in basically that time, so it WOULD have been a bit weird to see a princess-like character take part in a battle.

I've read about Arwen being at Helm's Deep, but I have never been able to discover her when I watched the movie.
On the one hand I would have liked to see Arwen fighting together with Aragorn at Helm's Deep, but on the other hand I'm not sure how it would have been when her character would have been changed that much.

I agree. That was WAY too far off from Arwen. Plus, the pictures that were shown looked like she was only in a dress. Who in their right minds goes to war without any armor?!?! They'd last maybe three seconds... Plus, weren't the pictures shown earlier in the topic of Arwen dressed in red???That's practically saying, "Look at me!!! Kill me!!! YAY!!!" Well, I think so...

Well, I think for sword fighting it was Liv, but she had a stunt rider for when Arwen was on the horse (at least she did in FotR)
