Some people have said that Arwen was at the helm's deep fight. Of coures all of her parts were cut out or Weta put in Legolas insted. And now we have proof of this.
Here she is behind Eomer.
here is her arm
And her head
And her fighting orcs

Yeah, I believe the pictures are from the movie... they might not have been able to edit her out completely, but good enough for me... I didn't see her!

No, but think about what a daunting job he had - nobody could've gotten everything exactly like the book. Be glad the movies are as good as they are and that they didn't end up like the Eragon movie.

Hey, hey it was an innocent comment! I sort of know that being a director/producer isna a dandy job.
And I was only speaking the truth... why bring the Galadhrim to Helm's Deep? That's a big change! That wasna even similar tae what the book had. So why not Arwen? Peter Jackson could have come up with something for her, like he did for the Galadhrim.

I think so, some one had to freeze fame the movie alot to find them though. Weta did a good job, some of her parts were supposadly change to Legolas. I found them on theonering.net and the lovley Liv Tyler.

Cool, thanks for the pictures . People used to tell me that Arwen showed up at Helm's Deep, but i was never really sure. But this answers all my questions

Sorry. I know what you mean though - but the whole warrior-princess thing wouldn't really have suited Arwen anyway (in my opinion). (Though I would've LOVED to see some kind of conflict between Arwen and Eowyn! ) I've just kind of gotten used to jumping to the movies' defense everytime somebody makes fun of them...

Nah, I wasn't making fun of them... I can't ever make fun of anything to do with Tolkien... he's like my god
Anyway in that case, I think PJ shouldn't have brought ANY Elf to Helm's Deep but Legolas... it just didna seem to fit, and I doubt they would have been so easily killed off if it really happened in the book. Like.. not ONE was left, which was rather silly. How could some of the Men survive, but not the Elves?
But yeah.. I guess Arwen was best kept out of Helm's Deep anyway. She would not have died there and it would seem kind of stupid to send her back home after the Hornburg Battle while everyone else goes off to fight other ones...

I agree with the cut --- putting Arwen there just.... it wouldn't've worked especially with what they tried to do with Eowyn/Aragorn. It just wouldn't've have worked. And I like Arwen's role as a substitution for Glorfindel, as a necessity, but I don't agree with them going pull-out warrior princess. We see three female figures in the movies, Arwen, Eowyn and Galadriel. Galadriel the elegant wise type who everyone respects. Eowyn is the warrior princess, she's the tomboy --- she's the symbol of our inner feministic rebel, but they need to keep Arwen as Arwen, a iconic figure if feminity.

Yeah. Arwen in Helm's Deep = Me not liking TTT. That would have stunk. It was bad enough that she got Glorfindel's role, but if they had stuck her there, then it would have been awful.
