i was glad that he got to be more of a main charactor in the ttt. I still wish that there was more of him though  i agree about them trying to get aragorn's elvish upbringing across. :annoyed: they could've done that and showd more of legolas's abillities. i mean i like aragorn but i just want legolas to get the credit he deserves :duh:

I love when they find the orc scout riding that freaky creature! I love how he yells "Its a scout!"
And then he does his serious elvish look and sees far away the enemy coming. He shoots one down then flips onto gimilis horse.
I love when he kills the elephant!!!
Legolas is awesome!

From reading this thread through there is sure a lot of different feeling and sentiment for Legolas! All the way from "hot!" to unimpressed. I was impressed with the book Legolas from the get-go but it was movie Legolas that really took my breath away. He was one of the actors that really stood out in my mind when I first saw the movies. Maybe there are some flaws but what is not to like about Orlando Bloom?! The way he is made up, he makes one awesome and handsome elf! (of course that is all in the eye of this beholder!)

If anyone knows anything about me by now, they know my favorite character is Legolas! :)

I usually mix the book with the movie though to get the right combination.

Okay, that sounded weird.

No it sounded not, I'm doing the same thing :)

But I think Legolas is too still (in the extended version not so)....
and that stunts well...
It's so cool... :-D

Another point brought up on this topic...

There already wasn't enough of Legolas, so why give one of his parts away? It was Legolas who had the ability to calm the horse with elvish words and song. Yet they created an entire scene of Aragorn doing it. We should note that, and not blame Legolas for not having much to do in the movies.

(It was a very messed up scene, anyway, as a result of the friction and disagreement between PJ and Viggo.)

If you mean about Viggo and PJ...yeah, it's funny, but I wish they hadn't attempted that scene with Aragorn at all.
