Legolas and Gimli's little killing spree battle is funny, and carries on into RotK (lol at when Leggy slides off the Oliphaunt, and Gimli says it still only counts as one!). Also their drinking game in RotK.

I thought when the Ents storm Isengard, and Merry and Pippin were chucking rocks at the Orcs was funny. The Ents are throwing these big boulders, but Merry and Pippin are throwing rocks. XD

Slightly off-topic (FotR), but the scene at the Council of Elrond - when everybody is standing up and yelling and all the voices start to fade in the background - there is this voice (couldn't hear for sure who's voice it was) that speaks so fast it sounds like nonsense (which it probably is!) and seems to be a little babble of gibberish. I cracked up so badly after it and rewinded that scene like 8 times and turned the volume up just so I could hear it clearly. :laugh: :roflmao: :laugh: my brothers joined in watching and rewatching that scene and laughing our heads off!! :laugh:

And somehow the part in probably TTT where Gollum has just been tied in the Elvish rope and is squealing and staggering - this bit when Frodo and Sam are talking to each other and Gollum screams hoarsely and kneels, and waves his head and arms falling slowly backwards - somehow makes me laugh everytime! Perhaps I'm weird, but the way he falls backwards just looks so funny! But all the other bits with him begging for the rope to be taken off is pitiful, and I try not to but when he seems to look up at the sky and fall backwards, I can't help giggling or chuckling at it. :blush: :confused:

I really loved the part where Eowyn offered Aragorn the stew, the discusting stew. And how Aragorn tried to pull it away and when Eowyn watched him eating. I loved it! xD

ALmost all of the funny scenes involve Gimli . Some of my favourite moments :

This new Gandalf is even grumpier than the old one.

I love how Gimli is to short to see over the wall at the battle of Helms Deep! :lol:


Also I like when Gollum asks what Taters are and the way Sam replies... Someone made a sound track out of that on Youtube actually. :erm:

I have to laugh everytime when i hear that scream of Gollum filled of incompetence when Sam is going to boil the rabbits xD. It just sounds so funny xD

i love the counting contest between gimli and legolas which is so funny, i also think when eyown offers aragorn the stew and he drops some on his self and hes like oh damn it!:duh:

Definitely the killing contest between Gimli and Legolas, amidst the raging battle! I know some people complain that it is these little moments of humor that "cheapen" the films but I think they are nice touches. And it is where creative freedom kicks in so I do not mind at all.

There are also some funny/cute scenes of Smeagol, when he is being lovely.

Goodness, there are a lot of scenes that make me laugh. Parts with Gimil and Legolas are always pretty light-hearted, I've found. :)
