I must say it is when my poor baby Haldir got chopped in the back of the head and if you wish to know exactly how many times I cried watcheng that part... it was something like 50. Plus I even cried listening to the soundtrack when the song came on *excuse me while I go wipe my eyes* I didn't even get any support from me sis and best friend! they just told me I was a looser... but I stand firm by my blessed Haldir!!!!!!!!!!

I'm slightly confused. This is a forum/thread (take your pick, I have no idea what it's called) for the best scenes in The Two Towers, but this is obviously very upsetting to you. Are you saying it's tear-jerking, but still good??

I think anyone who saw that part, when Legolas went down the stairs on shield, shooting all the way, went, "Whoa..."

well that best scene that I think is really cool is when the battle of Helm's Deep has begun and the orks are about to blow the wall in two...
My favorite is when the wall blows up and the orks come running through the wall!! ha ha... it's pretty awesome... :)

I was thinking about the music that went with it this morning. I had The Two Towers soundtrack on, and I was thinking, 'Is the music for when the Elves arrive on here?' Right then, it started playing. I love the music that goes with that scene, though. They go together so well.

I had it on again this morning. But, I finished the CD, so now I'm on to The Return of the King.
Oh, yes...the topic....um....the scene when the Elves come to Helm's Deep is one of my favourite scenes. Very well done.

Hmmm....I'd have to say the Battle Of Helm's Deep was my favourite (both movie and book). In the book, when the lightning flashes and light's it all up...it just gave me shivers when I read it. But my favourite moment of one of my favourite scenes (the battle) would have to be when the ladders go up...and the music. Wow. That just blew me away...gives me shivers everytime I see it.

"The Hornburg." It's track number 15 on The Two Towers soundtrack.
