In TTT treebeard says exactly (at least the German words are the exact words) the words that Tom Bombadil says in the book of FotR.
do you like that idea? or do you think it's stupid to let treebeard be like Tom Bombadil?


I actually like the fact, that there's at least a bit Tom Bombadil in the movies, but I still think Tom should be there, he should say these sentences, not Treebeard or someone else...

I am also happy that there is at least something that has to do with Tom, but I would like it so much to have Tom in the movie. I mean, you could just could out some scenes of Treebeard of make them shorter, or something, because I think, that Tom is a very important person, and should be in the movie.. sadly, Peter Jackson did not agree..!

I like it. It's good that they got <i>something</i> of Tom's in the movie!

but what I don't like at treebeard saying this: It's the wrong forest. I mean, they at least could have make the hobbits walk through the old forest in the beginning of the movie and hear Tom singing or something like that...

I like Tom. I wish he was in the movie. he's so neat, kool and mysterious.

Since this is a film discussion and Tom is not physically in the film, I'm going to have to go with Treebeard.

But I prefer Tom in the books!
