I remember when i first saw it i nearly wet myself laughing lol.

When i forst saw it again on DVD i kept rewinding it lol i just could NOT stop laughing at it lol, I was quoting it for weeks. I even based my website name on that scene lol [elvish-potatoes] see! hee hee.

I loved this scene! Sam was soo funny-and so was Gollum.

"boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in the stew"

and I loved it when Gollum says "whats taters?" and Sam's like...."Po-tat-oes!" lol.

I THINK we should have a little inter-thread test...

I should ask a mod first but if everyone on this thread wanted to take part that would be great!

The idea is, to make your a screen caputure of anyone who could be aying Po-tat-oes...it has to look convincing though. I'll make a mini award for anyone who could do it well!

ha this scene is definately my fave non-Legolas scene.
once my brother and cousin were talking about 'taters' and my uncle(who hasnt seen LotR) came in and said whats taters? and my brother shouted PO-TA-TOES!!

ooo, that music video got kinda annoying mid way. but yea, that scene was funny. i was like gimme taters...i want chips! and then gollum breaks the bunny....lol
