Isnt it Rather odd How in some cool pictures Eowyn fights an Orc in the Caves. Now, I dont want to be a nag, but I wish Peter Jackson put this in the films. I have the reg. and the Special Edition and neither have it. Does anyone know why?

Why the scenes aren't in either? I believe PJ thought the movie was too long with the scene in. Though he shot it, it just didn't take the movie anywhere.

my opinion *shrug*

Yes, however I dont think it is great that he would just take this scene out of Two Tower. I think it is Highly ridiculous

I know but he took out a lot of scenes from each movie that could of stayed in as well...

^I agree with Pandora. Some scenes in the movie just didn't add to the story and flow of the movie and they had to be cut out. There are many scenes from the books and deleted scenes from the movies that I would have loved to see in the final cut, but unfortunately did not make it. That's just how it goes, and of course PJ probably had a good reason for it. :)

I'd love to see it... *agrees with Larael* I often think that when I read the books or watch the movie, too

Yes, it would have been great to have, but it doesnt exsist.

I think it would have detracted from her later fight during the attack on Minas Tirith and of course, the big fight with the WitchKing. From a pure storytelling aspect, it wasn't necessary. We all know she was brave.

Yes the battles should have been shortener, but I think the story with the witch-king is quite important, because the witch-king is and important character in my opinion and so is Eowyn and... I don't know how to explain it... I just think it's important... :duh:

I'm glad he took that out, actually. I think it wasn't necessary to the story and anyway, she does have her day one movie later. :) Besides, remember, in the books she's not even THERE. She's the leader of all the non-warriors off at another hidaway in the mountains.

Yes, however, it would have been great to see some battle scenes with her. I state this because it would have supported her role in the 3rd movie. In the third movie she fights the witch-king. Where does she gain this skill? Dont know. Thus the battle scene in the 2nd movie would have been great to see

I would love to see them, unfortunately I think we never will.

I also heard that PJ wanted Arwen at the Battle of Helm's Deep. I don't know why but I've heard she was the one who should pull Aragorn and Gimli up with the rope (you know, after Aragorn and Gimli fought the Orcs in front of the gate) But I thought it was too difficult to put this in the story.

NO, that would have ruin the whole movie. She is too beautiful to be fighting like that. And you are right, it would be difficult to add her in.
