Yep. Aragorn definitely looks way better when he's rugged and Ranger-y. And yes, dirty too. :P I like him better with just the little, scruffy facial hair than a full beard too. I also thinks he looks better with his hair completely down. he just doesn't look natural anymore when he has part of it pulled back. That's just my opinion though.
Hooray for the unclean Aragorn! ;)

I completely agree with you, T.T.!
I love the dirty, ragged Aragorn ! :)

^totally agree! He's gorgeous that way :)
(It's really weird: I think that Aragorn's droolable, but Viggo not so much :P)

^yeah, Viggo in costume and in character...

Why does he look so much better covered in dirt than at his coronation?
Actually, he looks pretty good clean in the one scene where Elrond gives him Anduril and he's in his nightshirt...

I like the rugged ranger Aragorn. :-D Why does he looks as if just being a king has aged him a lot at coronation ?

:confused2: I haven't read the topics in this sub-forum in a while, but now I'm not so sure I wanted to. Obviously this is the crazed fangirl thread. :annoyed2:

 You said it!

I wouldn't mind if Aragorn never used shampoo ever again!

Definitely! I think he's WAY hotter than Legolas (no offense legolas fans, I still love him!) 'cuz I just love that rugged, purposefully-messy look. It's drop-dead sexy.

MMmm....greasy, gross, unwashed Aragorn.

You know, I find it interesting that we find Aragorn so much more sexier than the rest of the cast, in THIS category. Because, think about it. The rest of the fellowship, and pretty much everyone else, doesn't really bathe. So, technically, most of them are as dirty and gross as Aragorn. But for some reason, they just can't pull it off. Or, we can't really see that they're so gross, yet sexy. Do you get what I'm saying? :P Ha ha ha...I guess we just don't see Frodo or anyone "flinging his essence from his hair over everyone." Ha ha ha...*sigh*

Yeah, well, Legolas never gets dirty.

In the battle of the Black Gate, I never really liked how he had his hair all clean and pulled back. =(

I totally agree with you :D

I think he also looks really really good in the Prancing Pony, but when he lies in the water... wow :)
I just think, that at the end of RotK he isn't that good-looking anymore, he looks too smart, with that brushed hair and the longer beard, don't like the way he looks in the crowning-scene.

But I really like the way he looks when he drinks the stew, Eowyn made, wow, very sexy. Or when he tells her, that he's 87, I love that whole scene, it's so sad it's only on the Special Extended Edition because it's sooo great :D

I totaly agree.. i really like him being Aragorn, he looks best in TTT and worst in the end of RotK, but i don't like Viggo that much at all.. that blonde hair just doesn't fits him...

I definitely prefer Aragorn in TTT ... he looks best when he's sweaty and bloody and all sort of dirt ^^ he looks so masculin in most of the sequences ...
At his coronation he looks really ---- weird and strange I think ... I don't like the hair-washed look ...

I totally agree with everything you said :D

he shouldn't wash his hair, he shouldn't even brush it. he should jump around in mudd and blood all the day, then he would look totally adorable ;)

oh my gosh, I am watching FotR at the moment and there is this scene, where they are in Lothlorien and Aragorn walks over to Boromir and tells him, that he should rest. when he stands in front of Boromir and they show his face... he is looking, wow, extremely gorgous... :D
