I was just wondering if anyone agreed with me that Aragorn looks the best in TTT? I think that the unwashed look works for him, and all that swordplay is sexy!
(Am I allowed to say sexy? If not, I sincerely apologize!)

Tell me what you think!

I must agree. Aragorn being so unhygenic is quite sexy. I honestly would not mind the smell of him. He pulled off that dripping, greasy hair SO well! Cuz, in ROTK at the end when he's crowned...yada yada yada....he just looks old when it's all washed and purty! :P Yay for greasy hair! And an unwashed Viggo...I mean, Aragorn!

Mmm...Aragorn does look his best in Two Towers.
I'm not saying that all guys should go for the dirty look...but it definitely works for Viggo. Also, his facial hair is just right in TTT...enough to cover his face, not a full beard like in ROTK.

I did too! I guess great minds think alike. :P ;) Ha ha ha! Now, back to the greasy-ness of Viggo/Aragorn.

I agree with Larien that his facial hair looked better in FOTR and TTT. I didn't mind the full on beard in ROTK until it looked all clean and dried with a hair dryer. :P It looked like it could catch food in it. Bah! I like the dripping wet greasy ness in TTT! It just flings everywhere! The ESSENCE of Viggo...I mean Aragorn!

I also think that Aragorn looked best in TTT though I actually don't like unwashed men, but in RotK he looks a bit strange (when he is clean again...)

The greasy look makes him look so natural. I find a man/woman sexier when they're natural or nature-y looking. I agree, he looked best in TTT.

You know, I think that's why Aragorn/Viggo looked so strange in ROTK when he was all cleaned up. When everyone was cleaned up, actually...except of course Legolas...who must have some sort of repellent sphere around him. :P But that's not what this thread is about.

I think we were so used to Viggo/Aragorn (and the others) being so naturally dirty and greasy, that it was almost bizarre to see someone clean. :P Maybe PJ secretly cast Viggo 'cause he could pull of the dirty (one or two "r's"...;) :P ) look so well. Ha ha ha!

Yes I also didn't like Aragorn in RotK and I agree with you Haldir, there are many good-looking men in LotR... ;)

Ahh...

Clean Aragorn [as seen in the march on the Black Gate] or grubby Aragorn? :P

I definitely like the rugged ranger look. Not that he looks bad when he's King! But his ranger clothes look better on tim. ;)

I agree with you all that Aragorn was at his best in TTT :) Weeee! yay for the dripping greasy ness ! That was, I thought, the thing that made him a real ranger..

And Tolkien described him in his FOTR as a "weather-beaten man" So it's just a part of Aragorn :-D
