My favorite parts are in the EE of TTT. It's Theodred's burial scene, Grima and Saruman talking about Aragorn, and what they added with Merry and Pippin.

My favorite part would be RotK. It's where the story ends and I'm just always attached to the endings lol.

I voted for RotK, but I like all of them the same. But, in RotK there are the most scenes I really love!

I love hearing the part of King Theoden's speech and then to go fighting in ROTK. Riders of Rohan smash all the orcs.

In the TTT, my favourite part is the Treebeard scene, when he carries Merry and Pippin around and sings.
Beneath the roof of sleeping leaves and dreams of trees unfold; When woodland halls are green and cool and the wind is in the West; Come back to me! Come back to me! And say my land is best!

I have way to many favorite scenes in all of LotR but my favorite in the Two Towers is where(extended I think) they show Faramir's dream about finding Boromir. The lighting was just beautiful and I loved the whole look of it

Umm.... unfortunately it was no dream Eomira, he did see Boromir in that boat. It was more of a flashback
Best scenes in TTT:
- The sons of the steward (gave a better light on Boromir, still the urge to whap Denethor is abnormal.... he isnt that in the books by a long shot. Also the meeting of the two brothers is rather moving)
- Gandalf the White (the first time when he shows himself to the Three Hunters)
- Theoden's chant (as men prepare for the battle in Helm's Deep)
Plenty more of them though....

The March of the Ents, and the subsequent attack on Isengard. By far.

Those are also my favourite scenes. I especially liked the EE scene with Faramir, Boromir and Denethor, because, like you said, it makes you understand the characters a lot better.
TTT isn't my favourite movie of the three. That would be FotR.

In the Extended Edition my favorite part is probably Treebeard's poetry. Then of course there's "The Final Tally" which was hilarious to me. And the Sam's speech at the very end is just beautiful.
