Hey!
I would like to know what you think of Arwen's part in TTT.

Do you like her role as it actually is or would you have prefered an appearance as some kind of warrior princess (e.g. Arwen fighting at Helm's Deep)?

Personally, I love the romantic scenes of TTT very much (esp. the one when Aragorn is dreaming and finds himself in Rivendell on a sofa with Arwen at his side). However, if Arwen had fought together with Aragorn at Helm's Deep it might have matched her brave appearance in FOTR when she rescues Frodo at the Ford a little better.
And you would have had some more scenes with this wonderful couple *dream*... that underline the power of their love...

I didn't like her first appearance (mainly because of her dress), but I did like the rest of it. I think I'd have hated it if she had come to Helm's Deep. She is less a "warrior''; she has more of the wisdom and understanding of elves. True, she's strong in her way, but having her battling it out with Uruk-Hai....no.

I pretty much liked Arwen's apperance in TTT as far as it went. The Evenstar is actually one of my favourite scenes, it is so well done. I think Arwen fighting at Helms Deep would have been overly exaggerated and done little to advance the storyline.

Exactly my view. I think Arwen coming to Aragorn in the dream (or is it a flashback?) was nice and beautiful and simple.

the scene where arwen comes to aragorn is the same thing where galadriel comes to frodo in ROTK

I thought Arwen's scenes in TTT were not true to the book of course, but did not overstep. They were necessary to keep the audience thinking about Arwen and Aragorn. If she had been at Helm's Deep I think it would have given the wrong image for Arwen, making her seem more like Eowyn, when in fact they are two different people with different personalities and wants out of life.

I really loved the Arwen scenes and I think it wouldn't have been as good if she were in the battle of helm's deep

I´m in favour of the romantic scenes in TTT cause I think that Arwen ´s strength stands for itself and there´s no need to send her to the battlefield to prove it.

I loved the scenes. The best one was the flashblack, that was intense, but so lovely. I need to see it again!

I didn't vote for either because I don't think Arwen is portrayed with complete accuracy either way.
