I like them both because they are so different that they keep eachother alive, the one can't resist without the other..

I would prefer Smeagol over Gollum just because Gollum seems to always have an agenda and Smeagol's just along for the ride. But i think both play vital roles in the movies.

Definately got to go with Gollum, he had an amazing ability to survive and the most cunning mind. But I am aware that Smeagol played just as important a role, especially in keeping Gollum focused on what had to be done and how to do it as Smeagol kept losing his nerve/courage.

i love the way he says that line! nah, i love Gollum because he's so evil, but i like smeagol coz he's so funny.
