Even though Aragorn is my huge obsession, Frodo was the hero. It is not easy to risk your life so that others can live. I admit I couldn't have that much courage like ever in my life. So Frodo is a true hero. Also Sam is a huge hero, for never leaving Frodo alone on that journey. |

I have two Gollum because without him they would be lost. Sam because Frodo would be dead without him on too many occasions. He also carried all of the stuff they had. But, bless him, he got no credit what do ever |

For me it is a partnership of Frodo and Sam. Frodo had the strength and courage to end up volunteering to take on such a tremendous task and burden. The Ring has a will of its own and is not easy to accept a journey to destroy it while it steadily worked on your mind and soul. That said... If Sam was not there to be Frodo's anchor and strength, Frodo would not have made it in the end. Sam was Frodo's strength during the journey, but Frodo was the one to have the courage and strength to do what possibly no one else could. |
