I really loved the ending, and it was absolutely not too long! There are so many characters in LOTR, and you get a chance to see anyone for the last time, in their most beautiful costume on a wonderful place.. And the scene in the Grey Havens was also wonderful, it got all that emotion I had expected, and the music and the actors were just outstanding! :)

I think that the ending was really sad. I d believe that the fact Frodo just leaves was bit unfair. We didn't see him get to continue teh Baggins bloodline, and i mean wouldn't it have been far better if Frodo had been granted elven magic which would give him immortality as well as the other members of the fellowship, instead of sailing away and leaving them all behind. Frodo was still in love with the Shire but he just left!

Well, for the most part I loved the ending. It was very moving. However I thought that there needed to be more closure for some of the charaters (including some of the main characters). We had a pretty good idea what happened to Sam, Rosie, Frodo, Bilbo, Arwen, Aragorn, and maybe even Elrond but as for the rest...it was left up to our imagination. I mean if you didn't look it up on the computer or read the books you would never know what happened to several of them. That in my opinion was a bit upsetting. I know that they had to worry about how long the movie would last but...I just realy felt like there should have been a bit more closure for some of the characters.
(Sigh) Yes, I still liked the ending but it could have been better. I'll say I'm sorry in advance if I upset anybody.

Frodo's-Guidde, Yes, I agree that the members of the fellowship should have been given immortality. :-D That would have been so cool. Though, I guess it would have strayed a bit from the book and they didn't want to do that. Oh, well it still would have been cool. lol
