i saw the extended edition of RotK
i cant stand the scene of the witch king breaking gandalf's staff (and if not seen the rohirim leaving, he would kill gand)
i dont think with king could defeat gandalf, and especially the white
what's ur opinions?

i saw the extended edition of RotK i cant stand the scene of the witch king breaking gandalf's staff (and if not seen the rohirim leaving, he would kill gand) i dont think with king could defeat gandalf, and especially the white what's ur opinions?

I agree, gandalf would've totally won i think. why did the Witch King break his staff? isn't that inaccurate? does anyone know who's technically powerful? i wanted to know that. more opinions? |

I don't know. The Witching was very powerful, but I'm sure Gandalf could've killed him. |

I voted for the Witch-king. That scene was great, but the W-king broke Gandalf's staff and all, and it seemed like he had more power. |

I'm sure Gandalf could have beaten the witch king. But he knew it wasnt his job too. Besides, The witch King couldnt be killed by a man. Even though Gandalf if a Maia(sp) He still tok the form of a man. |

I think Eowyn Arelen is right. Since the witch king couldn't be killed by a man,Gandalf would have failed even though he was a maia.
