I love the EE. My favourite scenes are Aragorn Masters the Palantir and Cross-Roads of the Fallen King. My fav extended scene is Paths of Death. I love the EE but for me the best moive is The Two Towers, so here I don't agree with you.

aaahh! i love it!! my favorite extended scene/scenes are the Houses of Healing. that includes the part when Eowyn is being healed, and all the parts with Faramir and Eowyn. :) i was soooo glad they added that stuff in the EE.

Speaking specifically about the Extended Edition, it wasn't the best out of the three. There were some great scenes but some didn't really add anything.

But when Eomer found Eowyn in that field....whew...heartbreaking.

my fave scene is Drinking Competition in Meduseld. I love Lego's announcement, "Strange feeling in my fingers. I think it's affecting me."
and then Gimli, "He can't stand the wine." *collaps*

It just had so many good parts, it's hard to pick one, or even a handful. I loved how they showed Pippin following Denethor all the way to the pyre, then showing the whole Gandalf/Witch King sequence.

And even though it's in the original as well, who else loves the smile that Frodo gives the hobbits when he gets on the boat to sail into the west? You just KNOW that he'll be alright, and that this is what he wants to do. (warm fuzzy!)

I love the EE so much! I am so glad they made it! I like it when Gimli was in the cave with the people of the dead and he tried to blow/swat them away like they were bugs.

lol ye, a luv his face its like little blowz at the start then they get stronger and he then starts to use his hands to hit the mist away lmao en legolas en aragorn are like just walking rite thru it but the drinking game is so funny too gimli is so drunk he falls of his chair and is talking bout hair women en legolas is just like i feel a slight tingle in my fingers i think its affecting me lmao
