The Mouth of Sauron was freaky for sure.. gross really, but then what else could we expect?
Just something totally off the wall... but did anyone else think that when the MoS said "Gandalf" it sounded like "Gandbolt" ??? lol

Yes he said that as well.
But the part I meant was when the Mouth of Sauron said:
The Halfling was dear to thee, I see. Know that he suffered greatly at the hands of his host. Who would’ve thought one so small could endure so much pain? And he did, Gandalf. He did.
I know it's probably just my hearing, but it really did sound funny.

I totally cracked up right there. It sounded so weird coming from Gimli!

Only interesting Kagome-Chan? Hm....I'm guessing you have a good reason for saying that... I LOVE that part too. Although I do think that it was rather... modern-day'ish for Legolas to say "Game Over". I'm not... completely sure that people in Middle Earth used that kind of "talk" at that time...but who knows? I could totally be wrong.

i'm really not a fan of that scene, actually. yeah, first of all being the modern language, and although it fulfilled its purpose of cheering things up a bit, it seemed too modern and kinda cheesy (to me at least). and the "game over" really just tops it off for me...

Mm...yes, PJ wanted it to be a scene to cheer everyone up and give the movie back a happy note, but in the end I don't think the scene was very necessary.

Out of all the EE's I got the most pleasure from ROTK because of the addition of all the small and even what might have seemed irrelevant parts, to some of you - like the drinking game.
I felt the theartrical version was rushed and PJ had so much to tell in so little time, granted he did it very well but the EE just gave me those extra pieces I felt were missing, especially, Faramir and Pippin bonding, Eomer finding Eowyn, The Houses of Healing, Aragorn and the palantir, Faramir and Eowyn, The Mouth of Sauron and of course the lighter scenes were enjoyable a well.
I now love to watch the ROTK EE with the cast commentary, it's just so interesting and funny to hear what they have to say, and the recording of this commentary unlike FOTR and TTT was the first time the cast had seen the ROTK EE themselves, you get some great insight from them and Dominic Monoghan and Bolly Boyd's camaraderie is deligthful, if not a little ditzy at times.
Although I must add that the FOTR is my favourite out of the three movies theartical versions.
I'd have to list them as:
1. The FOTR theatrical version
2. ROTK EE
3. TTT EE
4. TTT theartical version
5. The FOTR EE
6. ROTK theatrical version
