When I watch RotK its an emotional roller coaster-either I'm yelling at Denethor for bieng an evil little git of a father, or crying my heart out through the rest of the movie.

I was mainly yelling at Denethor for being a cowardly brainless git of a steward

I think I'm somewhat abnormal. I have never shed a tear at RotK. I dunno why. When I first seen it in the cinema I was heavily pregnant so my hormones should have came into play, but nope not a one. It's emotional, but I somehow can't find it within myself to actually cry.

I've never actually cried at all during any of the movies, but I have to admit there are a lot of deep and meaningful scenes. I think someone else mentioned it earlier and I agree - the Grey Havens when both Gandalf and Frodo said goodbye was really sad. I'm practically saying out loud "No! Please.. please don't go!"

when my mom and sister went to see finding neverland, there was this guy in the theater and when peter said (at the end) "but why did she have to die?" there was this about 50 year old guy in the theater sobbing and screaming "WHY? WHY?????"
