Now, now, don't faint. I wouldn't mind a SIX disk movie if they would only-whoops, there she goes again. (Assuming you're a girl, Anie-sheesh! How can I know on here?)
I totally agree with you, Telcontar! ROTK EE is the only one I don't have and it's NOT FAIR! No lotr fan should be made to wait so long after the last movie came out to see it!

Tee hee. Yes, I'm female. And yes, the idea of a six-disk movie is incredibly exciting, I must admit...haha.
Oh dear, you two haven't seen the ROTK EE? Poor you!!! *hugs*

But I agree, would have been nice.

Maybe she didn't have to be there in the movie. She could just use her mystical, magical, pschic elvish queen powers to take over Elrond's mind again and see it through him! [far fetched??? no way...heehee]
not farfetched at all! good insight...but maybe she was there...Peter Jackson just decidced not to show her...lol not really but i think it would of been good if she was there...

PJ said Elrond wasn't supposed to be at the wedding either.

Well if she was there in the books, then she have been there in the film.
It's always made me sad that characters that should have been at events, weren't. I would have loved to have seen Galadriel at the coronation, so Gimli saw her again. And I think Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli and Gandalf should have been at Sam's wedding, and I would have liked to have seen Aragorn % Co, saying farwell to Frodo and all the others that sailed to the Undying Lands.

In the book, Arwen was not present when Aragorn was made king. She arrived later with her father, Galadriel & Celeborn, Glorfindel, etc. and then they were married in the City of the Kings. After some time, they all return to see Treebeard before Galadriel & Celeborn parted from them to return to Lorien, while the rest rode on toward Rivendell.
