this is one of my absolute favourite scenes in the whole movie trilogy also. :laugh: i say this whenever i drink a rootbeer... my friends and i all crack up and i just think that is one of the best lines ever!!! lol.

hahahaah yea. no doubt one of the best scenes of the movie. that scene in itself is one more reason to watch the extended edition.

Where and who is he :blink: sorry, i kind of thick! :goofy: really i never noticed, if you look in the frist movie when they arrive in bree you can see peter jackson! :-D

one of my favorite scenes, I love how the relationship between Legolas and Gimli evolved through the trilogy, their friendship made some funny scenes! like the dead orc count!

I don't like how some people I know say this scene demoralizes Gimli and Legolas. I think it's hilarious and adds a new dimension to their friendship, and also some much-needed comic relief.

^ I know! He's hilarious! The way he looks at Legolas when he says he's starting to be affected by the ale! I really love that scene, its a nice way to put some humor in, especially right after all the heavy stuff that happened beforehand.
