Yes I noticed about that. maybe it would look too wierd with the black walls.

first, PJ probably based the design for Minas Tirith using Alan Lee's stuff, which shows Minas Tirith all white..besides, Aragorn says "white city" in FOTR so the city HAD to be all white, lol
I've seen other drawings of how Minas Tirith would look like, and PJ's version looks more like Alan Lee's, and if you ask me, is my fave, I LOVE Minas Tirith (as if you couldnt tell that by my avvy and siggy )
