Are you talking about Ellethwen's pics?

I don't think you would really be able to recognize them in the movie because the Battle of Helms Deep moves so fast, but if you watched the battle frame by frame I'm positive you'd catch a glimpse of crimson here or there.

Yes, I was talking about them.
Thing is, the pics show EOMER at Helm's Deep! Like, inside it! From what I can remember, we only see him outside of it - arriving with Mithrandir to save the day and battling outside.
This is what confuses me...

Hmmmm...I don't remember seeing that, but then again Helms Deep does move rather quickly and I might have missed it.

Arwen in armour: Originally she was going to fight at Helm's Deep so that she and Aragorn would be able to see eachother. Also it would give the film makers a chance to remind the audience that Arwen was still there. I'm glad they took it out!!!

Why are you glad they took it out!

I'm glad they took it out, because it wouldn't have been right. Arwen did not fight at Helms Deep, and so I don't see why they would add her in there. It was just cause civil war among Tolkien fans.

I was really disappointed that they took the arwen - galaldriel scene out and the arwen - elrond scene out aswell.I think it was ok that Arwen was still fighting at helms deep, due to the fact that she could hardly be seen anyways.

Getting off topic, but wasn't Arwen supposed to appear more in the Fellowship because I saw some footage of it in the documentaries of FOTR. I think she was supposed to greet the hobbits and she had a red gown on.

I've seen pics of that too. I couldn't decide if she was greeting the hobbits when they arrived, or before the Fellowship before they leave. =/

I really wanna see those scenes! Sure, they have nothing to do with the book, but why would you shoot them, and then not show them in the extended version anyways? They have a bunch of scenes like that:

1. Elrond fighting in Mordor (there's more of it)
2. Arwen talks to the hobbits in Rivendell
3. There's a deeper chase into Lothlorien
4. Arwen and Elrond have another deep conversation'
5. Arwen talks to Galadriel in Lothlorien
6. Arwen and Aragorn have a scene where they're all happy-smiley-lovey-dovey-like
7. Arwen fights in Helm's Deep

There's definately some stuff in RotK, but it's slipping my mind as of now, but you get the idea. That's why I think we should write a letter to PJ kindly asking him to release a special Uncut/Uneditied DVD for us super fans who want to know what was shot, but not placed in the theatre/Extended Edition.

I wouldn't mind seeing all of them! Did anyone here feel ripped off when they watched any of the EE versions? I have, especially in ROTK! :annoyed2:

 *gasp* that would've been a really good scene. i'd love to see something like that, sadly we can only image :annoyed2:
