I don't think the scene with those two was nearly long enough... especially considering how much Aragorn and Arwen got. But at least it was longer than in the cinema release (how much...ohh..2 seconds?) I suppose.

Anyway, point being... what does everyone else think? Cos I can hardly watch ROTK now without screaming frantically at the tv screen...

(I am a very sad person and I probably need a social life :-D )

Yeah, it wasn't nearly long enough. But I am just glad it showed it in the EE. It was a good part ;)

I agree, it could deffinately have been longer. But the fact that they put some in the EE was special.

Oh yes, you're right, Arwen and Aragorn had a lot of time on the screen - over. . .and over. . .and over :-D

Well, I guess they just weren't seen as that important characters. :bye2:

Ok, the scenes were so lovely! They had a dream like quality about them... HOWEVER it was waaay too short. What they showed made it seem like they were only friends and nothing more. I am praying that someday PJ will release the scenes of Eowyn and Faramir on DVD, internet, whatever format.

I'm glad that the extended got the scene with Faramir and Eowyn.. they are a better couple for me than Arwen and Aragorn *grin* sooo sweet!

Ya, Eowyn and Faramir didn't get as much screen time as I liked, but I think the scene they did get was really nice. The holding hands was nice and simple instead of going into a whole other 30 minutes. :-D

I have to agree with, Elarinwen Vanathiel... The scenes that were shown made them seem nothing more than friends. I wish Jackson could have put in how they fell in love or at the very least make them seem more like a couple. Oh well.

I can see why he didn't put it in the theatrical version... aside from timing, it wasn't really necessary to those who didn't know the books, and to those that did they could live with seeing them just smiling at each other because we know what happens! :D

I wasn't too happy when I saw the scenes with them in it, but they grew on me. :D I love their story, more than Arwen and Aragorn's, more then Luthien and Beren's.

Kudos to Kitoky for the fabulous signature set, and art credit to engelszorn.

Nooo Beren and Luthien's is the best! So tragic and yet so sweet...

I agree, Nienor... Their tale is my personal favorite.

However, that made me a little more disappointed when they were not shown very much. On the bright side of things, Peter Jackson did gave us something to see which is much better than not seeing anything at all. :P

I know, I thought their story was cuter than Arwen's and Aragorn's story. Oh well. Yeah, I was hoping there'd be more because my friend had told me about the extended scenes. I was deeply disappointed.
