I don't know if I'm the only one that does it, but when I watch TTTand RotK, I skip the Gollum/Smeagol parts. I've seen them once and they're not the parts that make me want to watch LotR...

Does anyone else do it??

Let me reply, Gollum is an important character both in book or movies, so if you skipped these parts, the story would become meaningless as Frodo could not destroy the ring without Gollum and no Shelob for Sam to fight, undrstand?

Well, sometimes I do that too, especially my first times watching them. I had seen the whole thing once or twice, and I got the big picture, but for some reason I enjoyed the whole Rohan/Gondor scenes better. I think a part of the reason was maybe I didn't want to worry about the whole big emotional problems and stuff...I didn't want to handle it every time I watched it. Of course NOW I watch the entire movie and couldn't survive w/out 100% of it! (Also, if I only had 1 1/2 hours instead of 3 to watch the movie, I'd chose the parts I liked better.)

I know that. I only skip them AFTER I watched them once. Haven't I said that?

That's wha I do. :-D I had, like, 4 hours yesterday, and I decided to put something on. And I watched the Gollum part.

>_>

I watch the battles, most of the time. If I'm watching it with someone else, I'll watch the whole thing with no problem, but the battles are fun to spend around an hour on, and watch them all. The Gollum scenes are very cool.

It's not like I'm freaked out by Gollum. It's just that I'm VERY anxious to go to the battle scenes, and seeing I have no patience at all, I just.... forward. :bounce:

Personally, I love the Gollum scenes. I just love the battles more. I watch them both. ^_^
