yes I agree with ya Haldir (with what you wrote above..) I don't think I would have stayed as strong as Faramir.. it's terrible if parents prefer one child to the other, then they shouldn't be parents in my opinion

Unfortunately, it always seems to work that way in royal families. Throughout our worlds history kings have shunned their second sons [and daughters] because they don't think they will be able to live up to the first son [or daughter] standards.

Ironically, most of the time the first born child was extremely frail and died within a few years of life, or never lived to see 20.

Actually I guarantee you if Eowyn & Faramir were dead, I wouldn't be here. I don't know if that would be much of an effect, but I wouldn't be here because of them. I loved this couple sooo much I made a name of myself.

I definitely agree with that Firiel. When people have children they are supposed to love them and treat them equally no matter how much better one child seems than the other.

It would be so hard on Faramir, but he's a tough guy so he would be a great father.

Actually not the same effect on me as I felt when Boromir is dead because Boromir was really bad inside that is what I liked in his characteristics. Faramir had no effect that he is bad actually in the movie except the scene they tied Frodo's and SAm's hands.

He is NOT bad inside, just seriously corrupted by the ring!!! :explode:

If Faramir and Eowyn had died I would not be the LOTR fan that I am now. The movies would have been my enemy...I would hate them with a passion. Except for Legolas, Aragorn, and Arwen...but otherwise I would never watch the movies again if Faramir and Eowyn had died. Hehe...yeah...they're two of my favorite characters :-D
