^^I have definitely been hoping for a sequel. The first time I finished the last part, I literally sat there watching through all the credits, thinking "there has to be more!" And yes, I like that about his stuff too. He creates very human humans, if that makes sense. I guess the best way I can say it is that his stuff represents the insane adventure that is life in a way that is real and relatable. And that doesn't come close to describing it, but I'm in middle of doing Biology homework, which sucks my thinking powers dry.

Heh, it's okay. I'm a bit distracted myself... I only wish it was school. Meh. Anyway, human humans describes it perfectly! It's like human in every sense of the word, with all of our crazy complexities and everything. If I've learned anything this year, I've learned people have more layers than crescent sandwiches.

I'm glad to have Biology reading to do, especially because it's a rather short chapter and thus I know I can enjoy it but won't be up until late. And that's interesting, because it's one of the exact same things I've learned this year... this summer in particular, especially through my trip to meet with all my friends from the writer's forum.

Yeah, I read that in your post on facebook... which I never commented on to my shame. Well I had a long, thoughtful comment, but facebook ate it... and I was too disheartened to try again. I was just struck though with how much what you learned has been my own learning experiences this year. Just learning to love people for who they are, no matter how different. Much easier said than done of course.

^^I had wondered if you'd read it. And I can't blame you for not typing it out again after facebook ate it; I never like re-typing things. And that is indeed interesting that we would learn many of the same lessons... but like I've said, I think you and I are actually fairly similar. And yes, it's much easier said than done. I have to constantly remind myself as I go through my college classes.
Random note: would you be interesting in joining the writer's forum I'm part of? I know you're a writer, and you might enjoy it there. We give each other feedback on our writing, have contests and challenges, and of course have time to just chat too. Members can only join if someone vouches for them, and I would be willing to do that for you. It's up to you though; I know you get pretty busy.

*pokes head into ongoing convo between FM and AF*
also, the contrast between suffering and happiness makes happiness that much more worth it in the long run. the metaphorical "light at the end of the tunnel" is worth it, in my opinion.
i've been trying to get closer to some not-as-close friends of mine, especially because my 2 BFFs are, in a word, AWOL, which is hard..

AF: Life is crazy right now, but I do have some amount of free time on my hands, since I'm not going to college this year. I would love to join your forum -very much so- but might not be able to till I get back from Cayman, which would be the beginning of November. I'll pm you in a few days and let you know. Thanks so much for inviting me though... that means a lot. Since I know you're a very tight-knit group on there.
Maironiel: Aye, well put. And it's hard to get close to new people... but well worth it in the end. Just be yourself, and - please don't take offense, just offering a bit of advice - make sure you want to be their friend for their sake. Too many times I've made a friend hoping that they could help me, and not caring whether I was there for them or not. I'm sure you wouldn't do that, it's just a good thing to keep in mind.
Frosty: This is a Christian Writers forum, so you probably wouldn't like it there all too much. And please interrupt! i ramble on terribly and hog AF all to myself

This Biology chapter is taking me ridiculously long to read...
FM: Alright. I was actually thinking you probably wouldn't be able to until after you get back, so that is understandable. I am going to miss you ridiculous amounts while you're gone.

Aww, am I being too distracting? I could probably stop... though I don't want to. It's fun to be random in the music thread. And I'm going to miss you muchly too!! Hopefully I'll still have some internet access so I can keep up a little... just not as much. I'm prolly going to try to post regularly on my blog (see siggy link). I hope I'll have time for AU though... I don't want to have to go through the whole, "Hi, I'm FM, anyone remember me?" - "Um, no?" thing again.
Bach/Break - August Rush OSt
EDIT:
Maironiel: No problem! I know I come across really strong sometimes, so it's not you personally or anything. I'm sure this is very stressful for you. I've just had bad experience with friendships... and...yeah.

Oooh. All right then. What are you learning now, Altariel, in biology? I just had a biology test today. And I actually liked it.
