Lestat's temper flared and he sped forward, grabbing Elizabeth by the throat and pinning her to the wall. "Get out of New Orleans, darling," he growled. Then he dropped his hands and sped towards the scent of new prey.

((Well, if that happened, we'd have something of a threesome going on eventually...hmmm. Maybe you could try to kill him and Lestat could end up changing him...I dunno.))

Louis felt his whole body become a sort of numbed state after he finished off another ale. Just what he needed as the sun finally set past the horizon and the darker figures of the town began pouring in. Louis was in a bit of a depression, but he was not too gone that he didn't know when it was time to leave. Louis wanted to just be alone... leaving the tavern he began stumbling about in the night.

Jocelyn sensed blood, or the lack there of. She heard the sounds of the heartbeats in the streets, and those hearts that had stopped beating. There were vampires out there...

Lestat followed the sound of the mortal's thoughts to one of the cheaper taverns in the area. When he finally laid eyes on the man they belonged to, he grinned in appreciation. A young man with hair black as the night sky. And such eyes...ah, he was going to enjoy this. Without hesitation he stepped forward, taking the man by the shoulder with a murmured greeting.
"Hello there."

Louis felt a hand upon his shoulder and with instinct he reached out of the hand and when he tried to fight against the foreign limb, he found himself flat on his back. How strange, he could have sworn the other did not move, there was no way the man could have been so strong to overpower Louis like that.

Sighing he stood up and brushed off his pants, fixing his hair in the tie it was held back in. "Hello..."

"Why should you care, 'tis none of your business" Louis stated with a huff, but as his vibrant orbs lingered on the strangely perfect man his lips moved unwarranted. "But if you must know I like to drink myself away because I have not the heart to kill myself"

Lestat breathed in the smell of mortal blood and the longing for death that hung around the man like a funeral shroud.
"You really wish to die Louis?" he whispered.

Louis stared up into those piercing eyes, anyone else would be afraid, would be running away from this man offering death, but Louis found himself taking a step closer to the perfect man and nodding his head, some of his brown tresses falling before blue eyes. "Yes, that is my wish"

Lestat smiled, slowly, eerily, making no effort to conceal his vampire teeth from Louis. He put out a hand and took Louis' shoulder, drawing him close into his embrace.
"Then hold very still," he whispered. And sank his teeth into the hot flesh of Louis' throat.

Louis was already in a haze from spending most of his night in the tavern, so when he noticed those fangs within the others mouth it didn't shock him as much as it should. He was soon pulled into this man's embrace and felt his head tipping back. It wasn't until he felt teeth baring into his neck that he let out a painful cry. Louis's body shook slightly and his hands reached out to Lestat, grabbing his shoulders as blood spilled from him and into the others mouth. Death was coming, ever so slowly, but he could feel it and he began to revel in the feeling.

Lestat fed quickly, holding Louis up as he began to slump against him. Images of a lost family flooded his mind as the sweet hot blood floosed his mouth. Finally he lowered the man to the cobblestones of the street. His face was pale and sweat soaked the collar of his shirt. The vampire put his teeth to his own wrist and gathered Louis' head into his lap.
"Drink, Louis."

Life's blood quickly fled his system, much more quickly than any cut that he had ever possessed. It was actually quite painless as more and more body left him, escaping one body and passing into another. Slumping forward Louis began to loose consciousness and he awaited the inevitable darkness of death... waited and waited... and yet it never came.

Instead he could hear the distant sound of that lyrical voice. The man was speaking to him, asking him to drink what was being offered to him. Louis had no ability to have free will at this moment and let his body take power over his mind.

Lips pressed against the cold skin and sucked, a warmth filled his system and every swallow of blood had him growing more alert. His hand grasped the others wrist and his eyes bolted open, sucking deeply into the wound that was offered to him. He wanted more!

Lestat let Louis drink, holding him to himself like a child, but finally he decided it was enough. Roughly he pushed Louis away from him, sitting the delirious man against the brick wall of a building and standing in front of him. The wound on his wrist sealed itself closed.
"Open your eyes Louis," he whispered. Ah, what a beautiful vampire he would be, what beautiful death.
