Lady Death floated out from her hiding place inside a suit of armour and began laughing uncontrollably at the sight she had just witnessed. "Oh my dear," she said to Lord Death, who was actually smiling, "I thank you most heartily for sparing the poor fellow. That was too good of a show to put an end to." She twirled about the room a few times before subsiding into another fit of laughter. Her husband offered his hand as she came back 'round the room and put his hand about her transparent waist. "How about a turn about the cemetery, my dear?" he asked. "That would be smashing." And they set off leaving the mansion in silence.

FF yawned. "Yes, sleep is calling... Hm... hope it's not the eternal kind. Ah well..."

[Will be at work during the day, but will hopefully be able to catch up quickly afterwards. Have fun!]

[Hey all, I thought I'd just pop in real quick and say that I'm still participating. I haven't had a chance to post for the last 2 days *mutters about school* but I've been reading. So just assume that I'm tagging along. I shall post when I can! )

[Now you made me want to read Twillight. *pouts* What? Stardust as in the book behind the movie with Nicole Kidman??]


Eä stepped outside the mansion. Everything was quiet. The huge old oak trees were towering over the front yard with their long crooked branches, left naked after fall's first storms had raged through their proud crowns.
She was all alone in the yard, smelling the fresh breeze and drinking the cool October air.

"Alright, could my imagination possibly be more food-oriented now... The wind smells of rotten pumpkins to be honest and that 'delicate cool air' seriously needs to be spiced up... Champagne, Cranberry juice and shake it up, baby!"
She sneered and flicked her hair, while mentally correcting her inner narration.
"Or perhaps my stomach is trying to tell me something."

With those words left hanging in the empty air, she trudged back to the house determinded to find the butler and ask him to call for some take away sushi.

Fluffy greeted the Horseman with a wide smile as she entered the Dining Room. "Well hello dear Horseman. Had a rough night I see?" She wasn't really affected by the deaths of Lord and Lady Death as they both seemed to be a deadly couple. Literally. "Have you thought about what happened yesterday?"

Storming into the Dining Room with the forever windblown dark locks dancing down her back and struggling to keep up with the speed, Eä smacked the door open, almost knocking over the Headless Horseman.

"Has anyone seen the butler, what'shisname? Can't one get a decent meal here that is not day-old cookies and crumbles from the days of yore?"

She stopped short and picked up her manners which had hid themselves in the folds of her skirt.
"Good day to you all. What a charming aura you have today, dear Mr. Horseman. And Miss Rose, I bid you a lovely day today."
She nodded to Fluffy.
"You're right... That someone would kill the Deaths seems a little ... overdoing it, right?"

"Join the club." Fluffy said without even looking up; this sounded so familiar. "They've probably gone on a strike or something. For three days I've been making my own tea here, it's a down-right scandal. Kit should sue them all!"

Edit: Fluffy now looked up. "Yes.. it confirms that our killer is a smartass yet also crazy." She gestured Eä to sit down. "Cup of tea dear?"

Eä chuckled, talking to other people always cheered her considerably up compared to her own scizophrenic mind.
"Sue them" Her eyes lit up at the proposal. "That's a brilliant idea, if only anyone knew where they are hiding. But thank you, I'll gladly have a cup of tea with yer."
"But I'm still hungry..."
She pondered for a second.
"Well, then we'll just have to cook for ourselves. Anyone care for sushi?"
Before she had finished the sentence a 10 pound salmon zipped through the air dangerously close to someone's nose before performing a crash landing at the seven-branched candlestick on the table.

Indilwen came down the stairs, intending on heading toward the kitchen. Suddenly, however, she saw a large fish of unknown variety flying through the air. "Ea..." she said, shaking her head and chuckling to herself. "With all this talk of death and murderers... I think it has affected you." She laughed again, louder this time. "Just watch where you throw those big fishies... they look heavy. I don't want to get smucked underneath one!"

She inspected the fish critically before uttering a low sigh, apparently approving of the catch.
"My dear Indilwen!" she cried. "I'm afraid we can't accuse the murderers for having affected my sanity.. I'm believe it was seriously damaged before already."
"But I need some knives to cut this buddy up.. may I accompany you to the kitchen?"

"No thanks" Fluffy responded still quite absent-minded: her thoughts were still with the murder as she tried to connect all loose end. "If you've got some brownies I would be interested though.."
