Nurr came out of the kitchen and stopped, horrified. Directly in front of her was the ghostly figure of Elegost. "Ellie! What? How..?" She stared in disbelief.

"Oh my... dear Ellie... I kinda had the feeling, dear, walking around with so heavily loaded with weapons gotta jinx something."
Realising how this was not the time for cynicism she softened up and stretched her hand out in a gesture that would be easily recognised as 'patting comfortably on hand' on every living flesh and bone-person, however, it turned out to be more like fanning away smoke...
"I'm really sorry to see you like this... but... can I have your slice of pie then?" Eä immediately regretted. She had done such a good job all day about NOT thinking of food-related stuff and now... all in vain simply because she bumped into a ghostified Ellie.
"I mean... show me your body... ehh... I mean... show me your dead body!!!"

Nienna stepped out of the kitchen, rubbing her grumbling stomach, looked at Nurr, then looked up at the ghostly figure of her great-great Uncle.

"Great-Great Uncle? You died?" she gasped, gulping before adding, "Got any clues for us?"

Galatea reluctantly abandoned her slice of pie to see what the commotion was about. She stopped short when she saw Elegost. "Oh dear," she murmured, "Again? This is getting downright annoying."

[Good luck with that, Herenya's line seems infinite.. what a family gathering you could have! lol]

Eä poked the ghostified Ellie carefully, looking for clues as to how he had been robbed of his fleshy body.
"Umm.. how do you feel, are you alright there?" She twitched, as she heard how misplaced that came out, but she hadn't adapted to this new state of Ellie's non-being yet.
She stepped back as Galatea joined them, letting her do the talking.

Bubbles was shocked. "Elegost? Dead? Oh, goodness, this house is truly unlucky," she sighed. "I'm so sorry, Elegost. Well, do you have any clues that might help us catch your murderer?

Nienna followed Elegost into the dining room, "Oh My. What kind of pie was it Uncle?"

"Eww! This is really nasty" Eä couldn't help turning her face away from the body as she entered the Dining Room along with the others.
"This is like the movie Seven... have you comitted one of the seven deadly sins?" She took a moment to make a mental note to stay away from pie in the near future.
"Do you know what was in the pie? Strychnine perhaps? Isn't what they use to kill off people in those old movies because it's so quick?"
She pulled herself together and tried to wiggle the fork free of the table to inspect it.

"Oh dear..." Indilwen murmured. "Tsk tsk... all that pie making did have an ill effect, after all."

Nienna gulped as she looked at Elegost sadly, "Now I've lost my taste for pie. Any sort of pie."

Nienna almost laughed, thinking, Only girls know how to make fruit pie from scratch, Too Bad Uncle doesn't remember the specific fruit. She looked at the pie curiously, trying to see if there was anything funny or any clues around it without tasting it with no avail.

"So now you've turned into a girl-hater on your death-bed? How do you know she was female, you're dead!!!" Eä experienced her rather feminist sides taking over and she found herself pointing the fork against a transparent upper-torso in the middle of the table. The energy left her like air seeping out of a balloon.
"Alright then.. a female... could it at least have been a male then it would have been easier to figure out... a lot easier", she murmured.

Indilwen tried to resist the urge to giggle. "It would indeed be a lot easier. Less choices," she said. "Maybe it was one of the pie makers..." she mused. "Or maybe not. The pie could have been poisoned by someone else while no one was looking...the possibilities are overwhelming."
