This was one of those moments where Lady Death was actually happy she was dead. At least if the bat somehow slipped out of someone's hands she wouldn't get hit. Nonetheless, the watched the festivities from a safe distance away.

Tar grinned wildly at seeing the Horseman take the bat. She was rather interested in seeing as how he would do, seeing as he was, you know, headless.
"We need like, a sheet or something to cover him, since we don't really know how he...sees." Tar said, taking her original place leaning on a wall.

"I have a sheet that our gracious host gave to me" said The Horseman. And he covered himself with the white cloth so that only his knees were visible.
"Can't see a thing" he said in a muffled voice, as he gripped onto the bat and faced the general direction of the pumpkin.

Kit gripped Algernon by the elbows because she was .... well.... [ahem] and spun him a few rounds before letting go and taking large hops backwards away from the bat-wielding misunderstood horseman.

[I'll just continue this from where I left off]
Gripping the handle The Horseman swung with all his might, but each time failed to even hit the dratted pumpkin. He did clonk it once, but his stregnth had failed by that point as it was a rather feeble hit.
Gasping he concluded cricket was never really his thing and the pinata certainly wasn't.

[I have never ehm... done the ehh... pinata thing... never heard of it in my Halloween-ignorant part of the world, so this might be my great chance!  ]
Eä stepped into the room soon enough to be present to what looked like one of the mansion's ghosts energetic performance at the pinata. Covered in the white sheet she first mistook the Horseman for a ghost, being so used to having ghosts around as she was by now.
Eä stepped in as she deemed the Horseman had suffered enough at the pinata. She ducked a swing with the bat and grabbed him by what she figured would be the Horseman's arm under the rather formless sheet.
"Alright dear Algernon, it's still there and apparently a more tenacious pinata than anyone would have expected. Why don't you take a break now and gather strength for another try later on? "Afraid of my skills with a bat, dear?" Eä glanced to Kitoky, noticing how she descreetly ducked behind the Horseman.
As Eä couldn't find the blindfold by a quick glance around the room she simply covered herself in the sheet, which ended up hiding her entirely. She took a small step forward and took a great swing at, what to her best judgement, would be the pinata. Unfortunately, having her eyes covered she misjudged the distance and missed the target by inches causing herself to spin a couple of times on her own axis until she tripped herself in the sheet and crashed head first into the pinata.
"Owh...." Rolling a few times on the ground she finally laid still and found herself so tightly wrapped up in the sheet that she couldn't move a finger.
"Uhmm... help... anyone?"

"Nah, we're good watching." Kit laughed and went over to grab the edge of the sheet. "Watch out." And with one great heave, pulled the sheet off of Ea while sending her sliding across the room.

Eä sat up on the floor after being released. She massaged her legs and gave a few coughs for dramatic effect.
"For a moment I thought I'd suffocate in there - while you all just watched!" Though her comment was meant to the general crowd her eyes sought to catch and fix Kit's glance for a moment.
"How about the hostess gives the pumpkin a swing?" Sge suggested as she got up, making sure to limp a little.
[Owh.. look at the time... I gotta run! Going to the movies to see Burn After Reading, see you later *scurries off*]

Kit took the bat gratefully and held it... "Well... it doesn't seem fair for me to whack it because I have the authority/power to break because I'm filled of awesomesauce." She looked around, "Who hasn't gotten a chance at it yet?"
