"Those nasty little- Oh.." Fluffy who'd been marching out of the hall to go somewhere safe and childfree, stumbled onto the scene, still looking utterly annoyed. That quickly changed when she beheld Eä's lifeless body and the perplexed faces of the others.
"Oh no.." she sobbed. "Poor Eä.. I should have told her that mind reading combined with drinking coffee is a dangerous business.. but now she's gone..."

Indilwen shook her head slowly, placing a comforting arm around Fluffy's shoulders. "This has become so sad... I feel very sorry for the poor children that have come here to trick-or-treat. None of us are in good enough shape to be cheerful and happy." Sighing, she surveyed the scene once again before she averted her eyes. "I hope that Ea's ghost will come to us soon..." she said softly.

Eä trailed down the corridor towards the Drawing Room alarmed by the cries coming from the room. She arrived just in time to overhear Fluffy's words and replied cheerfully while she made her way through the crowd.
"What are you all so worked up ab... AAARRGGHHHH!" She jumped five feet in the air, or at least that's what she would have done with a solid body. Now she shot into the air much like a balloon someone let the air out of.
"That's me, that's my body???? I did I get...? I mean it's ... or.. how did this happen??" Her voice inquiring and demanding while she eyed the present guests.

Indilwen turned quickly at the sound of Ea's voice, her blue eyes as wide as saucers. "Well, I guess I did say that I hoped she would come soon..." she murmured, half to herself, half to the others. "Yes... you see, there's been another murder, Ea... and I'm afraid... that... the victim was... you." She wrung her hands mournfully. "We're not quite sure what happened, but it appears to be death by coffee..."

Death did come as a chock to Eä, admittedly, it was something she had never tried before and she didn't quite know how to deal with it.

"Owh... this is most unfortunate. I must ask Saffron for a 'OMG I'm dead'-therapy group sometime. For the time being I declare three days mourning for the amiable Eä!"
She glared suspiciusly at the others.
"And I was so sure the next victim would be one of the immortals..." She muttered, glaring around the circle of still living people. Eä gave each one an inspecting look, she was looking for something orange in particular, as she recalled orange to be one of her last memories from her life among the living.

Nienna left her bucket of candy to be attacked by the kids to find Kitoky and a bunch of others with Ea's body, "Oh. My. Not another one..."

Hearing the confused cries, Taur dropped her bucket of candy and hurried towards them. She found herself in the drawing room, Ea lying dead in a mass of broken glass from the coffee pot.
"Oh no! Poor Ea..." she sighed. "Hey, what's that?" She picked up the book and started to skim the pages. "Hm, I could use this..." and she sank into a chair, reading intently.

Yet again (my this day certainly was interrupted by shouts!) a commotion drew Nurrantiel away from the kids. As she drew closer to the drawing room, she saw scared children and spilled candy. What on earth...? Her unspoken question was answered as she saw a silvery apparition of Ea floating above her lifeless body. "Oh no! Not again!"

Eä wrestled her attention away from the pumkin bucket as Taurquende and Nurr entered the room. She floated over next to Nurr resting in Lotus position like a Genie on seeing Nurr's terrified face.
"Yeah, really, someone should probably... you know... dispose of my.. ehh of the body... it looks like I won't be needing that anymore.

Hearing more commotion, Saffron said good-bye to Eliza and floated over to the Drawing Room.

"Um, miss ghosty person?" someone said as she was about to float through the wall. Saffron turned around--it was the kid who she had startled off before. "You don't want to go in there. There's a dead person."

Oh no, not again... Saffron floated through the wall.

"Ea! You're dead! The coffee killed you? How horrid! Are you okay? Did you see who did it? Who did it? I want to know who did it! Do you have a clue? Something orange? Hmm, lots of things are orange. All the decorations are orange!"

"Umm.. yeah, killed by coffee... and ummm.. that's about all I know.. Now I think about it, it's unfair that the killer doesn't reveal herself to her victims. Like in the movies... they always give their victims time to say a last prayer.. or a toughed up line like "See you in hell!"

"By the way Kit..." She moved over to tap their hostess' shoulder lightly. "Wouldn't you be so gracious to have someone taking care of my... eh.. body?"

Saffron sighed. "So we have a cat-stealing twilight-hating flower-scented orange-thing-possessing girl...I think...Oh, I don't know. These clues don't make any sense. So I shall...suspect everyone until I can think straight again." She gave everyone in the room a hard stare.

"Funny, the coffee was found just before Ea died. All this irony is bound to cause some mental issues...or to augment already existing ones...yeah."
