Kit heard some distinct murmuring coming from some of the bookshelves to the side. She moved towards the shelf, and on a lower shelf found <b>Winter</b> curled up against the books. "Oh my! Where have you been all this time?" Kit cooed her out. "You know we've been quite worried. And your owner is so sad that she can't hold you anymore. It's a dreadful thing. Did you see what happened?" The cat only meowed, wrestling to get out of Kit's arms.
She jumped landed on the floor and crept slowly towards the opposite side of the table where Nurrantiel sat, arm hanging down over the side of the chair, fingers powdered from the Turkish Delight. Kit rushed forward to stop the demonic cat, but she was too late. Winter had licked at the powdered fingertips to consume some of the Delight.
Kit paused waiting for Winter to keel over any minute, silently thinking of an excuse to tell Saffron...
But Winter just kept on licking the fingers and nothing happened.
"Wh---- but... " Kit was at a loss for words.

"Hmmm" said The Horseman, watching Kit and the cat.
"So it looks like the Turkish Delight isn't poisoned" he said thoughtfully.
"Had they both eaten or drunk anything that was the same before they started eating the sweets?" he asked.
[man, I can't believe this. A week ago I was throwing up and now I have a cold. >.< I'm cursed at Halloween. I haven't felt right since my Halloween cold in '04. Grr]

Nienna couldn't help but be speechless as Taur was pronounced innocent then the bodies of Nurr and Indilwen were found.
She sighed, "Four deaths in a day...what...fun..."

"Why, Winter!" Indi exclaimed. "How can this be... how did you get there, and why is that Turkish Delight not affecting you?" She threw her airy hands upward. "I was so sure it was the Turkish Delight that killed me." She shrugged, looking around at the astonished faces. "I'm not sure if my crew is going to let me come anymore. At least not by myself. I haven't had much experience with ghost captains, let alone being one myself..." She shook her head quickly.

PD came in after everything major had passed, of course. She sighing in exasperation as she noticed that there were more ghosts added to the group. "not again!" she cried as she looking around the room. She quickly shut up when she noticed everyone focused on a cat. She tilted her head to the side and listened in on what was going on, curious to hear and see what had happened now.

Fragile watched the scene with interest, wondering what in the world was happening. Was the cat immune to the poison? Had the Turkish Delight not actually been poisoned at all? Too much information! her brain screamed.

Galatea floated through the wall to join the group. Seeing the bodies, she exclaimed, "More murders?." Drifting over to Indilwen, she said, "I'm sorry it happened to you, dear. Welcome to ghost-dom, though."

"Yes, I'm afraid there have been more murders," Indilwen said wearily. "Nurr and I have been made the latest victims. Being a ghost is quite interesting, though, or so I've found. Maybe we ghosts will have to hold our own synod," she joked, laughing.

PD couldn't help but jump as she noticed Galatea, yet another ghost, enter the room. This is really sad, she thought, we're all being picked off one by one and we can't figure out who's doing it. Her heart went out to the growing group of specters. She shook her head sadly, meanwhile warily looking over who was in the room. One of them might be the killer. She moved next to Fragile. At least she's sweet... she couldn't be the killer, right? she thought as she offered Fragile a meek smile.

"Oh, goodness," Bubbles sighed. "Four murders in one day? This killer really needs to get a life. [If the killer sees this, I mean in Hallowfest, not in RL. lol] I honestly have no idea anymore. Well, at least I'm still alive!" she trilled and danced around, happy with her alive-ness.

PD sighed, Tar was right even if it sounded a little twisted and wrong. Or, she thought grimly, we might just all end up dying and then it wouldn’t matter who was dead and who wasn’t. at this rate it seemed as if nothing was getting solved and this brutal killer was laughing at them right now, running around in their midst. PD looked over at Bubbles who had caught her attention from the dark recesses her mind had been taking her to. She raised an eyebrow. She wondered how the poor ghosts would feel about that. Although she had to admit deep down she too couldn’t help but feel thankful that she was alive and, so far, healthy and well. For now, she couldn't help but add. She finally shrugged in response to Bubbles, “I guess the killer likes to keep everyone on their toes.”

Saffron materialized in the room, looking happy since the first time she was killed.
"WINTER!!!!!!" The cat looked up from her Turkish Delight and mewed at Saffron uneasily. "I'm so glad she's alright..." she said as she floated to her. "Oh...I can't take care of her now."
Soon she realized that there were more ghosts then usual floating around. Her eyes soon fell on the lifeless bodies of Nurr and Indilwen and she gasped sharply. "When will this end? I...the...I...when I find out who it is, I will haunt the killer for the rest of my life! Er, her life!"

TT wandered down the stairs, muttering something or other. She stopped, noticing the faces of the people around her. "Have they're been more deaths? Who is it this time?"
