In question to how I made it, I took the picture, added one texture to it, and messed around with the lighting. Aside from the text, the blend is almost identical to the original picture.

*stares at blend* I'm not seeing how that blend looks awful. In fact, it looks amazing!! I love the colors, and the eye is so striking. I really like how the girl is in there twice. Yeah, it's awesome.

I think this set is ok. I'm not thrilled with it, but it's not too bad.

Yay! A/E forever! I love seeing other A/E graphics than my own.

It doesn't look that dark. It just looks like you've used color burn. I really like how you have the font going up on the right side, and the blending is impeccable as usual. And the fact that it's A/E makes it so much better.

I decided to refrain from doing A/E and made myself do something else.

*Faints* That is amazing. That is very, very amazing. Faramir/Denethor...not enough Faramir/Denethor graphics.

And everything else is, of course, awesome. It's great to see you experimenting, AF! I love using color burn, especially in light pastel-y colors (like a very light blue or green). It can add a lot of depth to a picture.

You're not good at banners? That slipped right by me. I love the way you do your fonts. You have this insane sense of how to make them look amazing! And I love how you incorporate pictures of yourself into your work. It's so unique and interesting!

I used screen a lot with this banner, and I think it turned out pretty well. I tried something different with the font, too.

Double post: Rose, if you're out of town over Thanksgiving, then we can just pause the battle for however long. That'll be fine; maybe I could even use that time to get a little ahead, so I won't have to be making graphics during Finals week.
