Pirates help too. Especially in the form of FM. In fact, it's normally Pirates, Elves, and Skillet that help me fight back homework...

DevotchKa is more than amazing. DevotchKa is *insert cool adjective here*. I've been hooked on them ever since I saw Little Miss Sunshine.
Though the more I consider my later, supernatural additions to my plot, the less I like them.
Same here, really. Do you have their new album?

Yes, I just bought their new album actually! Very, very, very gorgeous. I love how the instruments overwhelm the vocals, and it sounds all the better for it... if that makes sense.
"For Our Elegant Caste" - of Montreal
K. This group is plain weird. *is disturbed*

I cry every single time I listen to this song.
It's bad.

FM - I'm listening to it for the first time now, and I agree completely. Plus the kind of unusual style is very cool. How are they from Denver?

I dunno. I found them in my nightly rounds of browsing myspace music and was immiediately intrigued by the diversity of sounds. And slightly scarred.
I want to sink my teeth into skin I can't see through...
This song is very deep in a weird way.

Not listening to Skillet anymore. Writing them a message for the first time, that I happen to know the guitarist is going to read.
...Let's see if I can write anything coherent, I'm so nervous.

Magic? Occasionally they sound a little too much like Gogol Bordello, but I can look past that.
(I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds music by browsing myspace. People often look at me like I'm crazy)
"The Crane Wife 3" - The Decemberists
I this has got to be in my Top Ten Albums. It's so amazing.

You do too? *virtual high five* That's how I find 90% of my new music.
AF: Good luck! How do you know he'll read it? And don't worry, being the Skillet fanatic we know you are, I've no doubt you'll have any trouble expressing your love to them.
