Oh yes. It's a great way to find unsigned bands, or ones that have gotten absolutely no media attention.

As soon as you make 500 words you have to post a excerpt.

I thought so.

It is written. *dramatic pose* I know he'll read it because I have formed connections in Skillet management, and I know a lot of things normal Skillet fans shouldn't. It's really nice, actually. For example, I pre-ordered the fan pack of Skillet's Live DVD, and one of the items fell out in shipment. Well, this Skillet higher-up (one of them) that I know heard about it and felt bad, so he contacted the company who shipped it and told them to replace it. So then I get an e-mail from them apologizing and telling me they'll replace it. Brilliant.

Oh, you are creepily obsessed.
OK. MAJOR PLOT POINT that I need help with. My character has just encountered someone who will drastically change the plot. Should this character be...
good or bad?
and should the main character
like or dislike him?

Wow, AF's got connections! 8) I should've guessed. I wish I had such with all my crazy fandoms.
tim: Thank you. Though now I want more you know. And GOOD and DISLIKE.

tim: I agree with FM's advice. And I kind of want to read more excerpts now. I didn't even know you were a fellow writer.
FM: I think I just have issues. Enough that I know more about what Skillet's doing, what clothes they own, what kind of phones they each have, what kind of computer, what their favorite foods and drinks are, what their family members' names are, etc. than I do about anyone at my school.

I should. Hey, I could just do that for a living and skip all of this college stuff!
Honestly, I think one of the reasons I do this is because I'm so lonely, and what I do when I have no friends to really get to know is that I obsess over something and find out every possible thing about it. I did the same with LotR a few years back.

FM: Maybe eventually. I've never shared any of my personal writing with anyone, so expect whining.
AF: I'm not, really. Not seriously.
Good and disliked he is. Though all of my characters appear to be of questionable morality, and the dislike is simply a byproduct of the times, apparently. *Shrugs*

tim: No one can out whine me, believe me.
AF: Yeah, I do the same, only I'm not faithful enough to stick with one thing for long, I change and get news obsessions regularly... ending up with this hodge-podge of weird facts that no one else on earth cares about; like Josh Groban's preferred brand of shampoo is Pantene, he likes apple chips to snack on, and he goes bowling with his friends every Friday when he's home.
