Psh. Massive fan. Just because my play count on "Outlaws" has made it to 10,900 plays on my iTunes... never mind. If I am a massive fan it's only because he's worthy of a mass of fans.
"Good Days" - Joe Purdy
"It's not the dark I'm afraid of, it's the light... sometimes I wish the sun wouldn't come out at all..."
LOVE. THIS. SONG.

Oh wow, someone with more plays for a single song than me? I bow to your superior obsessiveness.
"The Clockwise Witness" - DeVotchKa
I am enjoying his album (I got to Good Days), but this song just won't stop going through my head.

Well, since it's DeVotchKa, it's forgivable. Their songs get stuck in my head almost more than any others.
Now my curiosity is piqued: what's the highest play-count song on your itunes?
"You Should" - Joe Purdy

What style is Joe Purdy? There's a good chance that if tim likes him I won't, but who knows.
"Hey There Delilah" - Plain White T's
NO IDEA why I'm listening to this.

I blame the driving, repetitive beats.
"Chocolate" by Snow Patrol with 3190. I feel so lame now.
"Seattle" - The Classic Crime

Plain White T's are like... a boy band.
"Do You Feel" - The Rocket Summer
NOOOOOEEESSSS.... I got this stuck in my head again, and despite the terrible emo-ness of the singer I had to go listen to it to get it out...

AF: Um, he's acoustic/indie/folk/americana. I love him because his lyrics have the appeal to me that country western lyrics have (I guess growing up on a farm in a small town kind of identifies me with this kind of music) but it doesn't have the nasty country lame style of music. It's very earthy. Mostly just his [gorgeous] voice and guitar. You can listen to ANY of his albums at his site - cause he's amazing like that and puts them all up for free listening. http://joepurdy.com/ I don't really think he'll be your thing, but you should give him a chance anyway.
"Only The Songs We Knew" - Joe Purdy
EDIT:
tim: Only a little over three thousand?! I'm aghast! Well... not being a homeschooler... you can't listen to music while you do school, so I have that advantage over you.

I will definitely at least give him a try. It can't be worse than listening to all of the morbidly addicting songs that have been stuck in my head, like:
"Apologize" - Timbaland (Feat. One Republic)
GAH!!! The beat is eating my brain!!!!

"Good Days" - Joe Purdy
This is actually quite pretty. Not the kind of thing I'd listen to all the time, but it's oddly calming...
