You do that too? When I'm writing a novel, normally I have a playlist for the whole thing, and one for each character. :)

"Undo" - Rush of Fools

Yesh. It's very handy to pull out when muse is running dry and you'd rather like to throttle the life out of the lot of them [characters].

Haha. Radiohead's my NaNoWriMo playlist! Considering I'm naming all the chapter titles after Radiohead song and the main character's name is Thom.

Obviously I'm not writing like I should be doing because......................

"A contre-courant" - Alizee

An amazing girl. Fantastic singer. And very cute.

*plays the song on repeat*

I think I just hit 200 play count. Yeah. Someone help me. I'm hopelessly obsessed with this song.

Yes! Music is very good for reviving a muse.

Caunion, that's actually kind of cool. I've been considering writing a short story using every single Skillet song title in a coherent way...

"Me and Jesus" - Stellar Kart

Lol. Don't look to me for help. :)

I've contemplated writing Sufjan Stevens a letter and tell him why we would be perfect for one another. I'm sitting here reading his short stories... and the point is reemphasized over and over. Sighs. If only I probably wasn't the 609,867th girl who wanted to write him this...

"World Spins Madly On" - The Weepies

Yeah, it is, I guess. I got the idea from...that's right, Across the Universe. It seemed such a good idea and I wasn't in the mood of re-using the names that I lie with.

"Your Heart Is An Empty Room" - Death Cab for Cutie

Though I strongly suspect it's going to magically change back to "A contre-courant".

*laughs* FM, that would probably creep him out just a little. At least I restrained any and all overdone obsessing when I wrote Skillet (and I do know that Ben, the guitarist, read it for certain, though he didn't respond). I may have to look up this Sufjan Stevens....

"Never Be the Same" - Red

...besides the fact of his rather problematic wife. *sigh*

Caunion, that is pretty cool! I can NEVER think of names for my chapters... so I just number them. It's kind of pathetic, rather. Meh.

"The Blowers Daughter" - Damien Rice

Cello and vocals duet?!?!?! :swoon:

Yeah, it would be. I didn't ask anything from Alizee...but then there's that other girl that I'm constantly obsessing over. (Hint: look down. But not too down) She might be getting a letter from me sometime in the near future. Well, when I say "near future", I mean next week. That is if I remember.

And look, I was right.

"A contre-courant" - Alizee

There's something about this song....

Wives get in the way of everything. :eyeroll: :teehee: Hey, at least Josh Groban's not taken! :innocent:

"Never Be the Same" - Red (again)

I was listening to cheerful songs. I need to do that again... once this repeat is over.

Hah, I know. There is hope for me yet! Even if I can't have a creative writing major, oboe enthusiast who plays the banjo and wears costumes a lot. :teehee: Yes, look him up! He's basically a modern day bard. :P I'll convert the world to be indie-music lovers yet! Some must hear pieces by him:

Caunion: Fan mail, ah. Good luck with writing it! I always feel so at loss how to express my adoration, and end up just saying random things like, "Do you enjoy grilled cheese sandwiches?" And that's not stalker-ish at all. Haha!

The Seers Tower
For the Widows in Paradise, For the Fatherless
Abraham

"Be Good Or Be Gone" - Fionn Regan

*adds to list of things to look up* Probably later tonight.

"You Give Love a Bad Name" - Bon Jovi

Oh goodness, 80s rock...

Haha. I'll try to do that. I don't think, for example, she needs to know I have three pictures on my wall. Or about the private shrine...I mean, did I just say "private shrine"? How dare you suggest that?

"Time After Time" - John Barrowman

That man might also get a letter in the near future.

LOL, Bon Jovi? You are full of surprises AF. Just for that, I'm going to listen to my favorite Bon Jovi song...

*hides from private shrine suggestion* No, I um, never do that. Not me. :hide:

"Ugly" - Bon Jovi
