^You know, I WOULD say I despise you for watching Angel. BUT, guess what?! *evil laughter*
ME ISH WATCHING ANGEL! *maniac laughter*
"Angel - Spin The Bottle"
So season 4 was never my favourite, in fact, I think it was the worst. But I forgot about this episode. SOOO effing hysterical. Old-school-Council Wesley FTW!!! Oh my god, I love him. SO much.
"Angel - Apocalypse, Nowish"
Meh, I hate the whole Connor/Cordelia thing.
I will tell you what I DO like about season 4. Wesley. HOT DAMN. He just went from this scrawny, clumsy geek that we all loved into a fully fledged GOD. I'd jump his bones over Angel's any day. XD
*cough*
I now need to actually go back to why I'm pulling an all-nighter. *cries*

Lol, you know my Jane Austen.. well, I can't say obsession since it will be against my beliefs.. but I did have quite a strong interest in her writings and the screen adaptations of her work ... for about 2 years... Actually, this obsessive interest has cooled down a bit with the coming of winter, but I'd still love to see the movie... And I gather you liked the movie Emma... I still have Persuassion sitting on my book shelf, unread, and I still don't feel like reading it... still a bit disappointed with Emma.
I just watched The Julekalender, old TV advent calender.

@ Ea - Aww, well I hope you can get back into her work again. Maybe some adaptations would work better for you, as having someone else visualize her world, is probably easier than reading it.
Oh, boy, did I like Emma?
Quote: @ Teh Monty - Yay for me! And yay for me again.....
Emma
*SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE*
Jeremy I loves you, but you need to make room for Mark Strong and learn to share my affection as my favourite Austen male - Mr. Knightly.
Ok... [where to begin] First off, my complaints. One; it was waaaaaay too short. Kate would have been perfection as Emma, but I felt scenes from the book (which worked well in the film version) should have been used (or something similar) to show she was a bit less... I don't know... something, but anyway, I just thought character wise, Emma was lacking something which the book and the film had. However, I know what Emma is really like as a character, so I can live with that. I just wish Kate could have had the chance to tackle a bit more character development, as she was truly Emma (not the over-the-top silly that GP played her as). I think I miss scenes that show her as a good and kindly person - I especially missed all the attentions she gave her father because I think her devotion to him was one of Emma's loveliest charms and proved deep down she was not just someone who was spoilt and beloved. [I also missed the fact that it wasn't brought to the attention of the viewer just how highly she was regarded]
Like the Pride and Prejudice adapatations, some characters I prefer in the film (Miss & Mrs. Bates, Mr & Mrs. Westen, Mr. & Mrs. Elton and Miss. Smith), but I absolutely loved Frank Churchill in this one. He was much less over the top (actually most of the characters were like that... so perhaps I do prefer more from this version... hmmm..), and I warmed to him much more than Ewan McGregor (although I always thought he was good as Frank). He was the greatest surprise for me.
Mr. Knightly. *cough* Completely different to the film version, much less... bouncey, you could say, and yet I think that worked very well in this, because Mark Strong's performance was much more understated and it really wasn't until quite a way into it that you realise how much say he has with Emma. I also loved how little he had to do or say to convey his feelings or emotions. Very clearly you knew what he felt about things, more so than in the film version, as you didn't catch Mr. Knightly just listening or reacting to something very often. But in this one, if somone said or did something, you just thought "uh-oh" and waited for the camera to find him.
And I SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEED at the proposal scene. Gorgeous. I had the biggest grin on my face. It was less squirmy than in the film (thanks to GP) and that kiss... ... [knows what she will be dreaming of tonight]
On the whole, I really enjoyed it. A few quibbles, but nothing major. My greatest lament is what could have been done with an extra half hour, but nevermind.

LOl, I know.. I did read your small resume/review.
Yeah, I loved the adaptations of Sense & Sensibility and Pride & Prejudice... but I really love her language and writing as well.

"House - 5x11 - Joy To The World"
Huddy, GROSS. Must go away. Interesting case though...even though I figured out that she was pregnant about 15 minutes before everyone else. XD If Cuddy actually gets that little baby, that'd be kind of sweet.
House trying to be nice? EPIC. Holy crap, he is so funny. VERY strange seeing him in a tie. XD The VIRGIN BIRTH?! But House was being nice to the patient. FTW!
Foreman and 13? Duuuuude, I saw it coming episodes ago. I knew it was gonna happen. Not sure how I feel about it....considering I no like 13. Hmmmmm....what a way to screw up your trial, Foreman.
"Eli Stone - 2x07 - Help!"
I love Pattie. I don't think I've said that yet. But I've loved her from the beginning. She ROCKS. Poor Matt, though. XD And SEAL! FTW!
"Stargate SG-1 - 7x03 - Fragile Balance"
*gigglesnort*
15 year old Jack. LOVE.

Oh my god, I absolutely despised season four, honestly. But Wesley was definitely hot. I'd still jump Angel over Wes, though.
And guess who's watching Angel? Me!

Only two more episodes to go. I liked that one.
I find Todd funny sometimes. What episode did you like best from this season?
