We had a lovely 5*F (-15*C) here in Stockholm today. FREEZING!

We have snow though so I guess it's not so bad. I mean if there is snow at least there is a reason for it being so cold, hehe.

Why can't the weather make up its mind? I'm getting really tired of this.

If I was on ski trip with my church college group in Colorado, I'd be experiencing below freezing temps everyday. I think it's somewhere between 0 and 10 there right now.

It's snowing right now here in Stockholm. *throws snowballs at her fellow A-Uers*

It's definitely not as cold today as it was yesterday. Around around 32*F (0*C).

:( Oh I hate that. *sends snow over*

I remember when I was a kid, everyday with snow was like Christmas because you knew you'd get to go out sledding!

Yeah, well I am pretty use to that kind of cold. Winters can be very bitter here and I've dealt with it my entire life so it doesn't bother me very much.

yeah... I guess if you were used to the cold it would not be so bad. *nods* I still don't know how easily i personaly would get used to it. lol

i guess it's kind of like the people in Alaska who go around in T shirts when its 40 degrese because they are so used to the -50s and such during the winter! lol Can't imagin that. *shakes Head*

Lol, yeah well by the time midnight hour came it felt like almost 20 below  I felt bad for the people in Boston celebrating First Night XD

Haha, the 40s are chilly, but not cold to me. 50s are warm enough to walk around in a light shirt here. I once met a small family who came up here from Miami to visit in the early spring when it was in the 50s, the poor father thought it was freezing XD Of course it's always in the 80s and 90s in Miami so the 50s are freezing to them

Well, here in TX, the first real cold front after the summer makes people bundle up. It'll be in the 80s or 90s, and a cold front comes through that drops the temps to, say, the low 50s, and everybody breaks out the jeans and coats. It's kinda funny, actually.

WE HAD SNOW TODAY TOO!!!!!!! YES! I love the snow so much.

We've been having a bit off wierd weather too. A couple weeks ago its was freezing! I mean frigidly cold, -5 degrees (-20 celsius) with a -30 degree windchill (-34 degrees celcius), freeze your snot and eyeballs shut cold. Where I live, its usually below freezing during the winter, but that was a bit extreme.

We also had quite a bit of snow, maybe a foot to a foot and a half. And then this out of the blue warm front comes through, raising the temperature to 50 degrees (10 celsius) with rain! So that got rid all the snow. But now, a little over a week later, the snow is returning! Yay! I'd say we have about two or three inches of snow. Not as much as I'd like, but at least its snow. My friends and I are thinking about going sleding!

Oh, how about in parts of Alaska? On the news they've been talking about how cold it is there, and they said yesterday in Fairbanks, the high was -40, and the low was -44.

*beep*? Holy crap!

Yeah, I'm glad I'm not in Alaska.
My chemistry teacher once told my class and me a story about how in Siberia during the winter, sometimes it gets too cold to even go outside. The people there test the wether by spitting. If the spit freezes before it hits the ground, its too cold to go outside. That happens around -50 degrees. That's brutally cold, along with being just plain wrong. It shouldn't be that cold.

So I read through the New Years posts and one thing struck me... what's up with Irish dancing and New Year? Is it something traditional or is it just... something you did?

The weather here is very grey-ish... it's cold but not no snow... I'm looking forward to spring.

Did school start for you guys or do you have exams or are you working?
