You guys will never guess what just happened. And don't laugh, because I'm still kind of in shock. O_o
I closed a door on my foot. Accidentally, obviously. And mashed up my toenail quite a bit in the process, and cut some of the skin underneath. I can't tell you how much it freaked me out. It's all bandaged up now and my mum says it'll heal and the nail will grow properly again, but I still feel really shaken.
Don't mean to lower the mood. And it probably sounds idiotic that I actually inflicted this on myself. It's like biting your tongue by accident, it makes you furious.
Anyway. All I shall say more is, ow.  _________________

It doesn't hurt so much now - there's some cream to numb the pain applied under the bandage and I took some Paracetemol - but I still feel all shaken up. It's probably just the shock of it. Goodness, I've stubbed my toes plenty of times before but I've never closed a door on a toe before this O_o

 Aww poor Goldy, something like that happened to my mom a good couple of days ago and she was really down so I think I could understand how you feel after being witness to that. To add to the list of accidental self-inflicted injuries...I cut my toe with one of those plastic rulers...  But I second what Neri says and hope that it gets better very soon.
