You did very well on my introduction, my dear!
Very interesting. So questions you say...!
I've noticed how you whizz all around the world. So where do you live now? And how come you've travelled so much, is it because of your parents' job?
When do you start uni?
And isn't it quite a big thing to be allowed in to all movies?

The travelling has mostly been due to my parents' jobs. Romania only just came out of Communism when my parents started medical school, and they wanted to leave. There was this fellowship program for Romanians in France, and luckily both of them got accepted. I actually stayed in Romania with my grandparents for a year, and I grew up pretty quickly because of all the moving around. From there onwards, it was just them switching jobs in different hospitals, and then dad came to Canada to do his specialty. So yes, my parents are to blame
I start uni next September, here is a city called Calgary in Western Canada. Its right near the mountains, and its really very beautiful. A little piece of heaven...
And here sneaking was the norm. Not for me, actually, because there was never anything R-rated that I really wanted to watch. But now if there is, I don't need to

That sounds like you've had an well, if not unusual then interesting life. It must've been exciting to go so many places and sad to leave them behind again.
On one of my own travels I met a guy who lives in Calgary. He talked very warmly about the cuty which he claimed to be something like the center of the universe, because apparently it's close to.. well, important places - and still a place of its own!
I'm glad you like it too since this is where you'll be going to uni.
I can't imagine not being allowed in to certain movies but in fact I might be my own strict judge when deciding what movies to see. I'm so picky and I can't watch too much blood and gore, scary movies or too much violence so basically what falls under the category of R-rated movies methinks.

I actually really don't like Calgary as a city But I love the fact that I can be out in the mountain and hiking in the middle of nowhere in less than an hour. One has to make sacrifices I suppose... But Im glad that someone out there likes the city!
As for blood and gore, the only R-rated movie that I actually snuck into was Inglorious Basterds, and it was with a friend. Im very, VERY selective about what I watch, and Im more likely to go take the five and seven year olds I babysit to Princess and the Frog and enjoy it than go and watch something R-rated

Hello, i joined this club a few years ago before disapearing last year for university. Anyway i'm back now for the summer. How's everyone's adult lives going? I'm slightly terrfied becuase i don't really see myself as an adult till i'm 20....whitch is a few months to go AHHHHHHHHHH. I mean i know nothing will change, i can already vote, have a job, drink, drive (though not at the same time lol plus i don't drive anyway lol) get married, but 20 is just diffrent ya know, i'm like....responsible EEEEEK.
Aerlinn I completly agree, though I don't think Rabbit Heart is actually about death - i think its acctually about bravery in the face of the music industry and her willingness to sacfice herself for her music- which from my own experiance is not an easy kettle of fish i can tell you. But I agree that funerals should have show in them, at mine i want people to laugh and remember my life with joy. As Dido said 'remember me but forget my fate.'

Welcome to the club Freya and happy belated birthday.
So how are you enjoying officially being an adult?

It's odd... But it means I can buy spray paint! But I'm no more mature than I was a year ago, so I guess I'm enjoying it just as much.

Welcome and happy birthday Lothy!
How did you celebrate your birthday?
Freya:: Nah, I agree with you... numbers are a funny thing.. It's not about the number on the paper what the content you put into your life.
Lothy and Freya... I ask every new member to tell about themselves, like what they are doing, studying, likes and dislikes.. about family or friends or whatever you feel like.

Me:
I am in College right now, studying Communication, emphasis in visual communication. I am also working in my college's work program, helping run the college media and news site. I like to read, sing, draw, and, for some strange reason, I like school. I dislike being bored and I REALLY dislike green beans. Anything I missed? Ask me more questions!

Thank you Eä
Well I spent my actually Birthday with my parents just doing a bit of shopping and then tonight we're having a big family meal.
And you really want to know about me? Well okay then, if you insist. I'm English and as of recently live with my Dad in Kent. My parents moved me to Scotland 5 years ago then the decided to separate so I moved back home with Dad as there's more opportunities for young people down here, compared to the small island I lived on in Scotland. At the moment I'm trying to concentrate on finding work.
I love anything creative; writing, drawing, digital art ect. and have a passion for history and science.
18 is a pretty big Birthday here as you can purchase tobacco products and alcohol, vote, gamble, move out and are officially classed as an adult.
