Hey hey, everyone! I'm Artificial Asian, generally called AA or Battery. I tried to join this site a while back, and only recently realized that my account is now approved. ^_^ So I join you now, not entirely sure if I'll stick around, but confident I'll at least put in a few posts.

I've been a fan of LotR since I was young(er), but although I know my fair share of trivia and details, I'm also fairly sure, judging by some of the topics and amount of elvish used, that quite a few people here know far, far more than I. As far as rules and things go, I'm a forum moderator of another fansite for another series, so hopefully you won't have any trouble from me unless it's unintentional and I missed one of the rules, in which case I apologize in advance. As I apologize for those overly wordy sentences. >_>

So... the short version here is hi, I'm Artificial Asian!

Hahah, thanks for the welcome. The name is basically because, a few years ago when I came up with it, I was a giant fangirl of everything Japanese… kind of some embarassing memories, but yeah. XD I kept using it because my online friends already knew me by that name. But I do kinda prefer Battery.

Hola AA (err... this abbreviation also gives other associations.. as I'm sure you're aware ) and welcome to the forum. I hope you'll settle in even though you're also busy elsewhere, but people are generally happy to be here once they get to know the place. You might want to join in our LotR book club discussions in the Misc. LotR books section [/shameless advertising ] or otherwise add to the general LotR discussions... The fandom is old and even though it may seem like we've already debated everything there is to debate it's still fun!!
