Laughing, he ran after her and got his supplies for their hunting trip. He took his swords, and his bow and arrows, some food as well as a few bottles of ale, one of which he kept in his hand.
''Ready '' he said with a smile, taking a drink.

"Yes! I am, and it appears you have all the necessities?" she nodded to the ale and laughed. "Let's go!" she went back downstairs and out the door to where Raven and another brown horse were waiting. "Are you riding?" she grinned at him.

''Yes I shall be riding.'' he said as he mounted the horse, patting it gently.
''This is the steed that I shall ride to victory with. Unless your archery skills have multiplied overnight.
He eased the horse into a steady pace.
''Here we go!''

She took off after him, enjoying the gorgeous weather. It was perfect for hunting. They passed through the gates and out into a field, then turned left into a vast forest. Nienna slowed Raven to a quiet walk, keeping her eyes and ears sharp. She listened, and heard a slight fall on the ground, it was a deer. She stopped Raven and silently got an arrow ready on her bow. She took careful aim, and fired. The arrow struck the shoulder of the deer, and it lept and began racing away.With a shout, Nienna urged Raven on, and the horse was more than ready for the chase. She raced after the deer, periodically checking behind her for Niko.

Niko followed her out in to the forest.
''A fine day for hunting'' he said to himself. He watched expectantly as Nienna took aim at a deer that had crossed their path. To his surprise she managed to hit it.
''Beginner's luck'' he called to her, before urging his horse as he went after her.

"You only wish it was beginner's luck!" she laughed back at him as she kept riding. She let go of the reins and hooked her one knee over the horn on the saddle for balance. She got another arrow ready as she came closer to the deer, then let it fly. The arrow embedded itself into the back of the deer's skull, and the animal collapsed instantly. Nienna took the reigns and slowed Raven, then circled around the deer. Raven was prancing. "How do you like that, your highness?" she giggled

Niko looked at her, not entirely sure what to say. Raising his hands, he began to clap, 'very well done, my lady. If it was not all pure luck, I'd compliment you on your skills''.
He reached into his things, and picked out some ale. ''Perhaps I am drunk and have just imagined that entire thing'' he teased, his eyes twinkling as he drank.

"Perhaps later when you are sober I shall cook some of this, that way you will be sure!" she laughed and hopped down from Raven into the tall grass of the field that the deer had run into. "Perfect day for a hunt!" there was a bit of a breeze, and the grass rustled as it blew through it. She closed her eyes, imagining it was the sound of waves at the ocean. She loved the ocean and sailing. That was the only downside to being ruler of Rivendell, there were no ports or beaches in the middle of the wilds. She opened her eyes again and flopped down into the tall grass. Skinning the deer could wait.

''Yes, love. That will decide it.''
He got down off his horse and gave it a quick pat before laying down next to Nienna in the grass, a bottle of ale in his hand. ''Yes, perfect day for a hunt.''
Niko handed her the ale and moved closer to her, a gleam in his eye.

She took a swig of the ale, then noticed the look in his eye she quickly handed the bottle back, her eyes wide "What are you plotting, Sir Niko?" she laughed, but remained ready to bolt if he pounced.

He looked at her and put on a mock hurt face.
''Plotting? Me? How could you think I would do such a thing? I was musing thank you very much.''
His hand found her thigh and gently gripped it. Niko suddenly had a desire for her.

"oh, little innocent you, why would I possibly think you were plotting?" she teased, grinning. Then when his hand found her thigh, she knew what he wanted. She held his gaze. "We're right out in the open..." she whispered, suddenly a bit shy.

''Yes we are'' he said with a grin. He took off his cloak, ''If you are that uncomfortable you may have this''
He kissed her and gently pushed her to the floor, laying on top of her.
Niko no longer cared that they were in the middle of a forest, his only thought was on Nienna.

Her breath caught, and she knew she desired him as well. Her arms encircled him, bringing him closer, and her lips found his in an urgent kiss. One of her legs came up and went around his waist and she deepened the kiss, needing him, desiring him.

Niko took a quick look around,though his view was obstructed due to the grass somewhat, no animal or person was to be seen.
His hands slipped under her clothes and found her hips as their kiss deepened, the feel of her body was still very alluring to him.
I doubt I shall ever tire of this.

She gasped then kissed him harder as his hands gripped her hips, and she moved her hips up to him. She gripped his sides, loving the responses she was getting. As well as loving the way he could coax responses from her with just a glance or a slight touch. Her lips moved to his neck, biting him as an animal like instinct took over her. Her desires ran wild.
