"Niko, speak to me." she held his head still, not allowing him tonpull away. "Tell me." she knew it wasn't nothing.

He was force to meet her eyes and as he spoke, his gaze lowered, not able to look at her.
''I was mortal once and somehow became immortal.It is possible. '' he stopped, hoping she had grasped his meaning.

She blinked as she saw what he meant. Become a vampyr. Her gaze lowered and she thought. What if he couldn't control himself and he killed her without bringing her back? She glanced quickly at him. No. She trusted him. She lowered her gaze again. What of the baby? She closed her eyes and centered her thoughts on it. If she gave it magic to survive until he brought her back, it was possible. She took a deep breath. She knew she wanted it, to live immortal alongside her husband. She looked up and once more met his gaze, her eyes intense.

He looked back at her as she thought, hardly daring to meet her eyes.
He bowed his head and laid it against her knees, shaking his head.
''I can't ask you to do that for me. You do not know what you would be giving up''

"Then do not ask and allow me to choose." she raised his head back up, speaking with her eyes. She wanted this. She knew nothing good would come after she died and he was left to wander the world. Who knows what would happen. "I need to stay and keep my eye on you." she said it as a joke, but emotions made her voice husky.

He let out a small laugh at her joke. It was obvious from her look that she was not going to take no for an answer.
''After we have the baby'' he said slowly.
''Only if this is what you truly want''

She shook her head. "I would rather it be now. The baby will be fine." she whispered, looking at him. "Please." she feared she would change her mind after the baby was born. Better to get it over with.

''Tonight?'' he said, though it was more of a statement than a question.
He wanted her to enjoy one last night of being human. Taking her hands, he spoke.
''Le hannon''

She nodded to confirm what he had said. She slipped her arms around his neck, needing him close. "No need to thank me." she whispered, before pressing her lips to his neck. Their son moved between them, moving against her belly, almost as though to get closer to his father. She smiled softly against Niko's neck.

Niko could hardly believe it. He returned her hug and spoke into her shoulder.
''There is every need to thank you. It is no small thing you do'' He smiled and looked out of the window, seeing the view, he lightly picked her up and rushed to the roof, taking care not to hurt her.
He sat down and gestured to the view.
''Yours. Take all the time you need'' he pulled her to rest on his lap in front of him, and lay his head on her back.
He could never repay her.

She closed her eyes and breathed for a bit, before opening her eyes to take in the view. It was afternoon, the birds sang cheerfully, elves went about Rovindell. She grabbed his hands and brought them around her. "Ours." she said quietly.

He nodded against her.
''Yes, ours''
He lifted his eyes to take in the view, it was incredible and they had eternity to spend together exploring it.

She squeezed his hands, watching everything from their perch. She watched as the sun slowly set. She swallowed, she was nervous. But she wanted to do this and would not go back against her decision. She leaned back into him. "Le melon."

''Le melon'' he replied, knowing the time was near, still not entirely sure if he could go through with it. He closed his eyes as he lay his head against her shoulder, his breathing beginning to quicken.

"Niko, it'll be alright." she caressed his head as he lay it on his shoulder, as she sensed his own doubts and fears. The sun lowered down, leaving them in darkness as they sat longer. She waited for him, knowing that he would need the time.

He took deep breaths, doing his best to control his breathing. After a few moments, he turned her head to meet his.
''Now?''
