"Thank you." Suddenly something clicked in Falasse's brain. "Wait... you have women's clothing?"

"I have both. You can't go un-prepared." she shrugged.

Falasse looked at her curiously. Why would the captain of a crew of men have woman's clothing? She shrugged as well. She knew very little about being captain of a ship, so she couldn't judge the captain for such a thing as this.

"Are you hungry or thirsty?" she asked, looking up from her maps.

Yes, actually. I would appreciate something to eat."

"Alrighty, let's see what we have here..." she motioned for herto follow and took her to another room with a long table full of food. There was chicken, fruit, vegetables, and lots more than just that. "Eat away! I'll get the rum..." she walked to a cabinet and pulled out two bottles of rum, setting one on the table and the other she opened and drank out of.

Falasse gaped at the amount of food. When she worked at the bar, she could barely afford the small meals a day. She only saw bounty like this in her dreams.

She watched Falasse's face with an amused glint in her eyes. "It's not going to bite you." her tone held the same amusement her eyes did. "And it's all real. My crew went shopping for food assoon as we put to port. I guess this is some of what they got." she chuckled.

A sobering thought went through her mind. Falasse didn't know yet that she had just joined the crew of a pirate ship. Larielosse wondered if she would run once she found out. Not that she could run far if they were in the middle of the ocean...Lairelosse put it from her mid for the time being. Falasse would learn soon enough. She drank more rum while she watched Falasse.

How would she adapt to life on board? To a life of sailing? Lairelosse pursed her lips. Hopefully Falasse was not prone to sea sickness. Storms found them from time to time, and would not help matters if the stomach was already queezy. "Tell me, do you get sea sick easily?" she decided to ask and either confirm or put her fears to rest.

She sat down at the table and began to place all sorts of food on her plate.
"I don't really know," she said. "I've never sailed before. I guess we'll find out.

Inwardly she cringed. This would prove to be interesting. "I do have some Ginger we can make some tea out of, if you get sick to your stomach. It calms an upset stomach well." Lairelosse watched as she filled her plate, aware that the girl had probably never had so much to eat in her life. "What do you do besides cook?"

"Not much," Falasse answered. "I can sew, but the only practice I ever got was mending my own clothes. I tell tales on occasion as well - you can pick up a lot of stories working in a bar." She took a big bite of chicken, noticing as she did that it was rather dry.

Lairelosse nodded wordlessly. She drank more rum as she watched Falasse. She loved her rum. "Have some more rum."

Falasse nodded in thanks, opening the bottle and taking a swig in one fluid moment. Although she preferred wine, she'd never be able to afford any wine worth buying.

"Can you clean?" Lairelosse asked as she got up from her chair. Her mind was working in several directions at once.
