I liked it a lot, too

. Not
quite a 10/10, as, being that I'm used to RTD's epic finales (and the semi-epicness of the S5 one) :} , I was hoping to see the Doctor & company bring down the Order of The Silence right then and there

. I
am glad so many questions were answered (save why it is that Rory keeps dying and coming back to life, which I would have liked to know :/), though, and that the Doctor & River got married 8). WOOHOO

!
What else? Ah. The interaction between Dorium's head and the Doctor while they were in the TARDIS? Funniest thing EVER

! I was thoroughly creeped out by the living, carnivorous skulls

, loved to see Amy & Rory kicking butt, and adored the back and forth between River & the Doctor before they went to the top of the pyramid

. Alex Kingston positively acted her socks off in the pre-wedding scene atop that, and Matt was great as always :]. And their wedding kiss? Oh LORD

! The only other thing I have to say about that is, "'Atta boy, Doctor, 'atta boy

8)!" I loved the River/Amy/Rory reunion toward the end of the ep, too. I still won't be particularly sad to see Amy & Rory become just part-time companions, but to be disgustingly sappy here

, that scene made me feel all warm & fuzzy inside

. I loved the Doctor's responses to Churchill and Dorium, respectively, regarding River, too:
-
Churchill: "So this woman? She's attractive, I presume?"
The Doctor: "Hell. In high heels." *Mischievous smile*
-
Dorium: "And Doctor River Song is to spend the rest of her days in prison?" (or something like that)
The Doctor: "Her
days, yes. But her nights? Well, that's between me and her, eh?" *Mischievous smile*

Quote:
it does answer that question in Silence in the Library.
What one do you mean? Who she is, or when he told her his name? If the former, then yes, it most definitely
has been answered

. If the latter, though, I think
that one has yet to be answered

. Elsewhere, like on the more or less official fansite, Gallifrey Base, a number of people actually
did posit the theory that the Doctor's double would turn out to be the Tesselecta. I was in the same camp as you, though— I thought
for sure it would turn out to be a ganger. There are numerous reasons it wouldn't have worked, though, the biggest ones being these:
-The body would have turned to goo once it started burning.
-Given the way the Doctor reacted in "The Rebel Flesh"/"The Almost People" to learning that the gangers were just discarded like trash, there's
no way he'd have used one as a stand-in, whether or not it/he was willing to be used as such.
-As far as we know, Ganger!Doctor melted into goo just as surely as the ganger of the foreman did.
