After Bilbo came back to Hobbiton, other hobbits were talking on corners about him and his journey. But no one of them wanted to go in his path and also go outside Shire. Bargo Took was one of these who have seen his adventure thrilling. He wanted to do the same than he. He wanted to be even more...strange. He imagined all the wonders waiting for him in the lost forests and elven kingdoms. He had to do it.
---
One morning Bargo Took entered the Green Dragon and taking a beer he sat near the large group of hobbits talking about newest rumors. He smiled under his nose and layed back in his chair, waiting for something to happen.

Lidden Leaffoot entered the inn and greeted the hobbits that were talking about something very important, because they were making very excited noises. He saw one of his best Took friends, Bargo, sitting on the chair next to the company, so he took the beer and mushrooms that innkeeper gave him and came to the table occupied by his best friend. "How's your day, Bargo?" he asked with a smile. "I feel like a butterfly. My father recently isn't complaining as much as he used to. I think I might have free head for at least a week."

"I feel well, my friend" Bargo replied, happy that Lidden actually came to Green Dragon after recent problems with family. "Do you know on what I am currently working? This will be so awesome, I swear this is my best idea that came to my mind in last years."
He looked at Lidden with a begging in his eyes to ask him on what he is working.

Lidden rolled his eyes. "Talk, Bargo, I know you would do it without me asking you." He turned back, because one of hobbit knocked him a little while walking near his table. "Don't spare the details" he winked to his friend.

"I decided to make a map of Middle-Earth" Bargo was excited. "I was seraching through old maps of Shire and none are correct. I would love to fix this problem. Hobbits seem to care less about travelling so who would be better to do it for them than me?"

"Whole Middle-earth?" Lidden laughed. "You would have to prepare for great dangers, my friend. You know about trolls and orc. Maybe you also want to make a map of their caves?"

"You don't want to listen, great. I hoped that you will share my passion and actually...go with me" Bargo looked with a smiled eye at Lidden. "Maybe you could lose some weight during the journey. You know, Bilbo could go so why not us? I would kill to see Rivendell..."

"Who you would kill, Bargo? I doubt any hobbit here would sacrifice himself to be your victim. But... "he made a gap between words to make them more distinct "...you know I am always ready to help you. But I won't fight with orc this you can take from the menu. Safe places, no mountains and stuff like this. You must get over that the maps won't be so complete as you wanted."

"Lidden, do I look like somone who is up for fight with orc?" Bargo showed his belly and laughed. He sipped a beer and took mushroom from friend's plate. "Only safe places...maybe couple of unsafe..."

"Don't joke about safeness of my butt" said Lidden. "You want to see elves? Fine! I also would love to meet this Elrond that Bilbo was talking about, he seemed powerful guy. To Rivendell? Also fine. But keep our way safe."

"You bet!" Bargo laughed. "When you can leave Hobbiton? In next month sounds good? Because now mushrooms are best, I don't want to leave before they started to be so tasty..."

"You and your shrooms. But I also like them. Let's wait for the next month and after we will feed ourselves with greatest food in Hobbiton, we will be ready to travel." He patted his friend's on shoulder and stood from the chair. "I must go now, I wanted to buy my father some errands...He is maybe less strict but he still wants me to...work. That's hideous!"

"Go right away, I don't want to see your face anymore" Bargo waved the hand and laughed. "Greet your father from me and tell him that you are going abroad next month. I bet he will hate me when he will get to know who put you into the whole thing."

"I will tell him that you depravate me!" shouted Lidden, leaving. He had much to do and he also needed to prapare himself to talk with his father. "Nice shrooms" he said to innkeeper and winked. Inn hobbit winked to him as well and Lidden left the Green Dragon.

Month passed very quickly. The open family of Bargo wasn't happy that he is leaving but they accepted it - Tooks always were wandering around so it wasn't surprise for them. Bargo closed all his cases and took the existing maps that should help him in location of places.
He wanted to go to Rivendell but in his mind clued a thought to go even further. He wanted to make a maps of whole MIddle-Earth, didn't he?
He was consulting everything with Lidden, even the taste of the shrooms. The friends became even more close during this time. They never were spending so much free time before so Bargo was happy that it's Lidden who agreed to go with him.
In this very special day, he stood before Lidden's hole and shouted:
"Ready?!"

Lidden was eating fast breakfast (fast means twice as usual) when he heard Bargo's shout. He murmured something to himself about being to early and opened the door. "Come in, my friend, I have fresh bread. Maybe we will eat something before we will go?" He really was hoping that the answer will be "yes".
